I would pay to have the ability to "gift items, engines, mechs" to other players. (taxable c-bills; call it, S&H)
I would pay to have the ability to have private matches.
Private match:
A payed person can invite a non-paid or paid player to a private match, each paid can bring ONE non-paid. So for an 8v8, 8 people need to have paid for the option to invite the other 8 people. These matches have 0 costs. No repairs, no ammo, no out bound c-bills. On the same note, you make NOTHING by being in one of these matches. NO XP, no GXP, no C-BILLS. An arena in which you can practice without have anything happen to your balances. What your paying for is the effect of not having any costs, but still have the ability to practice with others.
I'm sure i'll think of something else later.

I'd also like boosters, to either xp or cbills or both.
Another thing I'd like to see is a slight permament increase to cbills generated for anyone who has ever bought MC. Kind of like what Tribes Ascend does, giving a permanent 50% VIP bonus to anyone who has paid money at some point. This could also get some people, who would otherwise never pay anything, to at least buy the cheapest pack. A one time payment is better than none at all.

Yeah and a World behind the Glass with Plastic Dino & BB
I mean the only thing I ever hated in MechWarrior Online, be it Part 3, 4 or 5, was that I have to fight in a cage with ones i do not know without any Plan or Back up.
Does it not mean "A tactical BattleMech simulation set in 3049 AD." when one enters your page?
When I read this so I realize I never would pay for a Online Battlemech Game without Character play in an evolving Universe.
And I definitely need a SDK (Of course I would pay for it).

"Skins"
Mechs could obviously get different paint jobs, and this seems to be well on its way to implementation, but what about other cosmetic variations? Further, this could even include variant appearances for whole body parts. Obviously anything too large scale would risk changing the hit box, but as long as the details were small this could be avoided.
- spikes
- embossed House decals
- alternate Atlas heads
- cockpit window colors
- laser/energy mount appearance (gauss barrels on Atlas wrists, for example)
- ballistic mount appearance (let me spend MC to match mech appearance with weapon configuration)
- missile mount appearance (different shape, maybe red tipped warheads protruding, etc.)
- banners/flags
- Complete themes: Frankenmech Atlas skin, Great White Catapult paint/skin combo, etc.
Although one can identify weapons, particularly lasers, by color, in general messing with the appearance of projectiles would not dramatically effect balance, this is more debatable but certainly has possibilities.
- laser color
- laser animations (pulse lasers made to look like lines of mini suns, flare at the muzzle, pulses within a beam, etc.)
- missile contrail length, color, animation
- muzzle blast color, shape, etc.
- missile sounds (perhaps shrieking missile mod or whatnot)
- tracer colors for ballistics
- flamer color/animation
I would not want anything goofy or out of character for the setting, but again, possibilities exist:
- Jump Jet color
- location from which the Jump Jet burn appears
- Jump Jet animation (Saturn V high particle burn or smooth "modern" burn etc.)
- movement animations
- cockpit glow (glowing eyes on the Atlas!)
- music
- broadcast music you can hear depending on your proximity to the mech in question
- footfall sounds
- servo sounds
- pilot commentary
- computer voices
- broadcasted taunts
I am not certain if HUD appearance changes would potentially be considered unbalancing, but depending on how it is handled this could be lumped in here as well.
- I would like to change some of the icons on the screen
- Appearance of the crosshairs
- all the dolls, fuzzy dice, etc. people will buy
- pilot appearance
- control appearance
- cockpit color scheme
- window strut shape (potential balance issue here, but honestly I don't feel like the window struts ever get in my way now)
I am not sure I would buy every one of these things, but I would definitely be intrigued, and some would be certain buys for me with my pile of already existing MC burning a hole in my pocket.

You should let people purchase colored ambient lighting for inside their cockpits. It would only be visible to the player or someone spectating.
There could be another option (or the same one, I suppose) to make the lighting visible to outside sources as a colored glow coming from the cockpit windows.
I believe paintjobs and customizations like this should be unlocked via MC only.
After unlocking the feature with MC, the customization should function the way upgrades currently do: you can apply the customization to any mech you own for a high credit fee. Switching to a new customization would incur the same high credit fee. Removing the customization altogether should be free, though.
You guys get MC and players get a credit sink to help with inflation.

• New Skins (providing there were dozens to select from like in MW4
• Cockpit skins/toys (things to change the appearance of the cockpit AND properly preview it...I do not pay for things I cannot preview first)
• New Pilots/skins; I would pay to change the appearance of my pilot; male and female, with various appearance/outfit options.

A bobble Cat K2 nodding in agreement as I blast the enemy would be LOL worthy.
For IRL Items, Miniature mech models would be great, I'd gladly pay $35 for a 6 inch Catapult.

Cosmetic stuff is a good idea, also other things that are similar to the "Founders tag". I just did not spend any money, because I was not sure if this game will work out. But the founders tag was/is pretty nice. So... something similar would come in handy.
Reduced costs for buying/selling equipment could be nice too, so you can test around with your mech without spending too much C-Billd in testing your configuration.
Shorten the time to get what you want is the good way to solve this, but everything should be possible for the ones who do not spend money. Think of it: The large community is the thing that holds this game alive.
Cosmetic things could be things like enhanced cockpit-animations. And other gimmics could be "no repair costs".
