You could do that...That way if you have a mech you know you'll keep, you can get the one time only one and save some money.
Cockpit voices, you could pull a car gps thing and get some famous people to record voiceovers for the computer, and let people buy them. How many of you would buy a william shatner voice over for your mech's computer?

Is there going to be a stats/exp wipe in the future? If so, what will happen to people who have spent MC (real money) for converting Mxp to Gxp? That is effectively clearing peoples hardearned.

i think stats like KD and whatnot are being wiped to implement the pilot rankings but everything else like xp, cbills, and any other in game stuff is supposed to never be wiped again.

They could add some more customization for guilds/clans so they could have their own color/camo sets. Maybe even rank insignias....
Maybe some one shot/use items to dump heat like a coolant flush or something.

I definitely need the german AND the EU flag on all of my mechs.
(even though they don't belong to the BattleTech universe, but I would still pay for it *g*)

I would gladly pay for a string of mini commando and raven heads hanging across the top of my mech where the happy 3050 banner was.
Think cannibals with shrunken human heads on a necklass thing.
And no, im not bitter about being slaughtered my lights ohh nooo.......
Arrrghhhh get it off me get it off meeeeeeeee #BOOM#

Or a PPC to the same affect. no changes in damage or anything, just the shell/bolt is a puppy or a kitty. (kitten cannon anyone?)

- Spraypaint text/decals on my mech
- Colors, but not as much as the current price.
- Patterns, as long as I own them permanently per mech, e.g. I buy Phranken for my K2 and I can always put it back on the K2 any time I want after that.
- Colored lasers
- Per limb coloring
- Mechs, but not $30 apiece. Maybe $5. At $5 a pop I would not bother grinding.

The "Thermal Break Up" effect would be more pronounced the farther away you were from the Thermal viewer.
Example:
0-250m, pretty much a Mech outline, with some blank spots (where the thermal paint scheme was applied)
251-500m - your Mechs outline starts to break up. Your Mechs outline is at about -40% degradation. Outline now has some large breaks in it to the thermal viewer.
501-750m - your Mechs outline is very broken up. Your Mechs outline is at about -75% degradation. Outline now has more breaks than solids in it with respect to the thermal viewer.
751-1000m - No solid thermal image. Your Mechs outline is at about -90% degradation. Outline now has almost no clarity and targeting would be near impossible with direct fire weapons. To the thermal viewer your mech looks more like a smoke remnant than a target.
P.S. One thing about that special Thermal Paint though. It works just as well but to the opposite effect when in use on Hot environments.

I would pay for that.

OOOOOR, have it just grab the heat from below your feet and make you that heat level. then it doesnt have to figure it out, your just the heat of the ground.
Otherwise.
