- In Chromehounds I loved the spike melee weapons. I personally like to make fun tunnel visioned classes designed for specifically 1 task but does that task extremely well in addition to my workforce/jack of all trade VTs.
- 2 or 3 passenger vehicles such as the 125-135 ton Ares http://www.sarna.net...es_(BattleMech). I would pay for this in a heartbeat if I could have it for my Lance but really more importantly If it was say $100 for this Battlemech (yes I would pay that much for it) I would really be getting it so I can be utilized by my House whenever they need me. (even though I realize this wouldn't even have been introduced until 3132 and MWO takes place in 3015). I wouldn't mind If I didn't even have a way to defend myself! If could provide the best support for my Lance/team with this Mech I would do it!

Possibly mech chassis, but not weapons/equipment. Extra animations and taunts...aren't that important to me, but not against them....
Mostly I'd pay for Mech Chassis and maybe extra decals.

Ability to have multiple mechs (this would make matchups a bit easier: bid a lance BV, then the team picks mechs to meet that BV)
Ability to have multiple pilot profiles (again, easier matchups - if today the party needs a light, I'll run a light. If they need an assault, I'll stomp out with an assault).
Customization: colors, decals, non-tactical additions.
I also think the devs should consider using a kickstarter-like model (even using kickstarter) to allow us to prove that we mean we'll pay for features. It's one thing for us to _say_ that we'd pay X for a particular new feature. It's another for us to actually pledge the funds.

Additional pilot profiles per account
normal mechs and mech types
Storage
Weapons
All gear
Boosts (exp and in game currency)
Access to premium mechs and weapons (something like premium subscription)
Bling
I work a lot and don't have time to keep up with some of my friends who have a less rigid schedule. Being able to keep up with them in gear and mechs for some cash would be great.
Before you all go crazy over buying equipment and items with real money:
1. This is a question that I answered honestly for the devs so I don't care what you think.. Please don't bother with a reply.
2. Get a real job/ responsibilities and then see how much you care about someone crying about how you bought your mech to keep up with your friends while they "earned" theirs.
I will be buying the founders pack and whatever else the devs decide to sell to help me keep up. Some say that's unfair because you have to "earn" yours in game.... I say I "earned" mine out of game. If you wanna complain cause you don't have the cash to spend on the game... then possibly stop playing the games so much that you have all the gear I don't have time to grind for and get a real job so that you too can chose what money you have spare. In the end skill is what makes a mech pilot... not gear. I have my skill and hopefully can supplement my limited time with bought gear to match.
Overall I hope the game has enough cash buys to help the gamers with limited time keep up with all the ones who don't.

Some of you have also mentioned exclusive mechs. That would be nice, but only if they are as powerful as mechs of the same class. e.g. an exclusive medum chassis novacat is arguably the same strength as a non-exclusive medium chassis Timberwolf. Unique but equivalent.

But since its free to play, I would pay for custom skins or maybe a "premium" server.

It will require ofc some team matching config - dunno if there will be battles slot based or maximum tons limited. If slot limited, just leave there 1-3 max slots for flying stuff, if ton's limited - then it will be great for filling free tons.

Serious-
- I would pay for addiitonal mech slots (garage space) like WOT
- I would pay for alter ego pilot accounts (linked to same PC/email account) that would allow you access to same level of Mechs, but only allow one alter ego per faction. You should still have to earn your way with each character, the only carry over would be access to mech types. The "garage" space would remain the same. So you could have 4 mechs and 1 pilot, or 4 pilots with a mech each. Make trading between the accounts restricted (or not allowed) and put in safeguards against team sabotage. Limit it to 4 or 5 pilots per account and not allow pilots from the same account to be used at the same time. This would discourage creating an "unlimited" number of pilots connected to one account, or use a veteran account to dump C-Bills into a "new" warrior or let someone have a pilot on both sides during a battle. The sheer number of mechs to grind through and garage space cost would keep down most of the riff raff.
- I would pay to buy chassis that are "classic" (Rifleman, T-bolt, etc.) but do not impact the balance of the game. Make them limited edition or "short production run" mechs. I don't think anyone would gain an overwhelming tatical advantage/disadvantage with most of the classic mechs. If what I am reading is right about the mounting system, we won't have to worry about someone going into the mechlab with a Rifleman and turning it into a Crusader missle boat, so the game balance should hold.
- Make premium servers/maps available on a pay per play or limitied subscription basis with options not available on standard servers. For example, if you wanted to use Long Tom or Naval/Areospace bombardment, you would have to pay to play on those servers supporting those options. All sides would have access to those resources on the servers, how they would be deployed would be up to the admins. Newer players or people who did not want to pay could still enjoy the game on the standard servers. Make access to these servers not just pay to play, but rewards for racking up specific points or performing specific missions within certain parameters to get the gamers talking about them. Make "thematic" servers like one with Solaris and each of the arenas available, or recreate battles from the massive amounts of lore that are out there. Or you could make a server that is specific to a planet (Hesperus II, Earth, etc.) or zero gravity effects.
