As a side-note I never really quite understood why everyone has such an aversion to the "Press Start" you see on some games. So what if it's mainly associated with consoles? It gives the user a visual indication that a gamepad has been detected and inputs will be accepted from it. It's not like "OMG!!! It's the Apocolypse!!! Another console to PC port??!!!! RAWR!!!!!!" that some seem to make it out to be.
Myself, I'm just happy that one of my top 10 games for this year will actually support gamepads and/or other control devices for those of us with injuries that prevent the constant use of a keyboard and mouse.

Boot Sequence > Legal Screens > Technology Bumpers > Developer Bumpers> Intro Video > Title Screen > Technology Bumpers... repeat.
The loop would hold on the Title Screen for 30 seconds and then kick off the loop again. You've all seen stores that had TV's in their display windows or kiosks and a game would be playing and you'd be like "Woah.. what game is that?". The Title Screen would appear and hold and you would then be like "Woah.. neat... I want that game or I'll go home and look it up".
Yes it is somewhat console specific but PC games use it at tradeshows and such as well.

I got a buddy that did a buncha volunteer firefighting and emt stuff. He has regalled me before on the dangers of a tree to a moving vehicle. Even a small tree is far more sturdy then you'd believe. Anything but a sapling will wreck your car.
Telephone poles are a horse of another color and are far more breakable.
I'm curious if there is going to be any "difficult terrian" issues. I'm learning Battletech now and moving too quickly on some surfaces can make you skid. Some rough terrian's can cause a fall.
Actually I'd find it interesting if when you enter a "dangerous" terrian too quickly you have to "make a pilot test". In this case you must hit X ASAP. From there a couple quick prompts of A and D in the right order to mantain your level. Or you fall on your side and take damage. Say going full throttle into rubble or ice.
Making a player have to respond to dangerous terrian is always hazadorous to player enjoyment...but I think MWO could do it well. Have the Mech put an overlay on terrian deemed dangerous and make the "stay standing" check not too difficult once you get used to it. Puts the respect for ice it deserves when your piloting a top loaded two legged mech trying to run at full speed.
