WARHAMMER FOREVER! Classic mech from the earlier days of BattleTech and not to mention, LOTSA LASERS!

Besides, in terms of looks, the Victor don't got nothin' on the Warhammer!

Warhammer would have the advantage in the open field while the Victor would do better in an urban environment. But overall, I think I would prefer the Warhammer despite the fact that it is light on armor.

I like both mechs this shouldn't really be a comparison though since they are from different Mech classes not trying to bash the topic i think its cool. If they add both Mechs to the Davions then more power to us ,but i would like to see the Victor that would be a awesome Mech for the Davions to have with all that firepower. Every side will probably get the Warhammerthats why i think the Victor appeals to me because it is a Mech that represents the pride of the AFFS.

Victor...In the right hands a victor is devastating...of course so is the Warhammer...would take either one of them...HHMMMMM..could make an argument for either....Tough call...but considering the name...Victor...

Warhammer, but just by a little. The PPCs have greater range than the AC/20 and have no ammo concerns, but generate lotsa heat. I give the Warhammer the victory(haha) because of its supporting weapons: The Warhammer has two medium lasers, two small lasers, an SRM-6, and two machine guns to the Victor's two medium lasers and SRM-4. Sure, small lasers and machine guns aren't worth much, but the Warhammer can more effectively engage infantry, and 'keep the pressure on' or just keeping a constant stream of fire up on the enemy. Of course, the Victor has a ton and a half more armor, but that is negated with the PPCs being better than a single AC/20.

Victor simply because the Warhammer has only 10 tons of armor really low for its weight class and slow speed. same speed as victor. If warhammer was faster i'd say it would win.

Voted for the Victor just because it doesn't get as much love as the W'Hammer.... Plus it's seen.

While I like the look of the unseen Warhammer better. The Victor has more armor same movement but added Jump Jets and as someone else pointed out that AC 20 will put a whole just about anywhere on that warhammer. While the biggest thing the Warhammer has going for it are the 2 PPC's which will also be its biggest problem (heat). you fire both of those for a few rounds and you are running hot. and once in close, not counting the Min range on PPC's, the Warhammer will have heat issues with 2 PPC and all the other wpns.

the biggest factors are the pilot (being able to keep the victor at range) and terrain (if it is open that would be a problem for the Victor).

Victor, that AC20 can be dropped and a Gauss Rifle mounted in its place. (can't recall if there's already a variant of this kind, but it's definatly something i would go with. Plus, i'm a big fan of the Clanner's Night Gyr.)

Done some searching... Sarna.net says there was a Victor 9D (Endo Steel) variant with the Gauss Rifle and extra armor.. :Dand the Victor 9K.. same as the 9D just different manufacturer.

I prefer Warhammer.

I has more energy weapons, and I LOVE energy weapons. Not to mention, the Warhammer has a longer range than Victor, so it can do more damage while the Victor is closing in to use that AC20.

WARHAMMER FOREVAH!

Warhammer, twin PPC's will ruin anyone's day.
The Victor VTR-9D would be a little more of a challenge with a Gauss rifle giving it rang but your standard Victor is going to take a pounding by any 'Hammer pilot with good aim.

I'd probably go with the Warhammer, you could slag a lot of armor from the Victor before it got in close with that AC/20
