Sorry man gotta disagree with you there. I dont see tuti fruiti colors going on in the MWO trailer. Looks gritty and things have a worn appearance. The animations are great and I would think not being alpha there not even done with them. As much as I liked Mech3 the animations were still limited. Mech 4 animations looked good but were implemtented wrong IMO. The mechs moved to fast and it just looked like a normal FPS. Color wise MWO looks really good. Kudos to fellows who made MWLL but those animations are still limited as well. They are nice but not to level of MWO.

PS I think the liberal use of lighting and reflection would give MWO a too pristine look. This universe must have a haggard worn look.

The interview looked awesome...shows some great graphics and gyro..ready to fall in that cockpit this summer ;)

I don't remember what thread the post was in, but it greatly described the CryEngine 3 capabilities and pointed out this effect. Its actually a process where the previous frame and the new frame are overlaid, this makes them flow into each other and also provides cheap and easy anti-aliasing (or something to that effect). You can see it several time sin the trailer with the AC firing plume and the lasers. The after images may seem unsightly when watching the game, but when playing the game it apparently increases the quality by a lot and is extremely cheap to do in terms of resources.

Sigh after reading a few more posts I started to form a rant in my head but sighed and decided I just can't get annoyed at people that "don't think it looks good" anymore. I personally think it looks fantastic and will just attribute comments like those up to "can't make everyone happy" attitudes.

looks like its time to prep the machine for some upgrades, New Vid Card, more ram, maybe a new processor. the Game play looked good for the stage of the game. Summer, oh man I have not one but 2 Vacations this summer. I hope they get it out before June...

I suppose thy are not donme yet with the graphic, so looking forward how it looks like at the end! And I am not disappointed at all at the moment.

I thought the tone, animations, environment and textures looked great in the recently released trailers. I could see some room for enhanced weapon effects, but other than that I felt like it was already looking like something I'd pay good money to play.
