What is the most memorable MWO experience you've had with BWC?

I'd say it is those matches where you drop as a 4 man group and completely just dominate the other team through good communication and planning. There are lots of times when this happens and you get a good rush out of it. Below is just one instance of us running a four man that rolled up just about all the competition- I guess that Jagermech in there stole one of our kills:

Posted Image

My fellow Echo Company pilot, and myself accounted for ten kills on the other team. I was running 2x PPC and 2x AC/5 in my Battlemaster, while Corewatch was running his ever stalwart 2x Gauss, 4x Medium Laser Cataphract. I think for such a small map these numbers were pretty good considering the limited lines of fire you can achieve. Frozen City definitely doesn't tend to be a sniper map.

What has been your favorite IS mech to date in MWO, and why?

Even though I no longer play in it as much as I used to the Ilya Muromets CTF-IM has been my favorite and go to mech. It was my first hero and at one point had over 200,000 xp on it.

The triple dakka of the 3 ultra ac5's just shreds everything in sight, love it! It made me the money to buy many of my other mechs. It will always have a place in my mech garage.

What is the most memorable MWO experience you've had with BWC?

Definitely our Legendary Operation called "Target Lock: Cancer". Shortly after the introduction of Sarah's Mech we came up with the idea to hold an Operation for the MWO Community that would raise awareness about Sarah's Mech and spark sales to help with cancer research, but that blossomed out into an operation that the entire BWC company was involved in which spanned all our games. We pledged to play up to 24 hours straight, and ran continuous operations and training during those 24 hours We even had members of other MWO teams participate for the full 24 hours!

At the end of the op we had raised over $65,000.00 that we donated to St. Judes Children's Hospital. It's by far the most inspirational event I have ever participated in for a game. As a father of 3 young children, it was very important to me, as it was to many other BWC members who's lives and families have been effected by cancer.

What were you looking for in a MWO team, and why did you choose BWC?

Activity, character, maturity. I wanted a big team that would have members on all the time so that when I decided to play, I would have friends to drop with. I had been part of small teams in other games. These teams were very good, but other than our official meet/play times, I was usually alone. I had dropped with a couple teams like that when I was “shopping” for a team. Very good, very tight knit. Friendly, don’t get me wrong. But they had their hours, and I just didn’t want to be subjected to those hours or else play alone. BWC has a very large membership base.
The character and maturity comes from our standards of conduct. We have fun and are pretty loose, but have you ever seen those guys in the game that absolutely rage at other players with profanity and insults? That’s not allowed by BWC member either in our outside the team. So that attracts like-minded players who are looking for a good team, that holds themselves to high accord, yet still produces a lot of enjoyment in the game.
We’re very big, very active, and very fun.

What is the most memorable MWO experience you've had with BWC?

Most memorable MWO experience with BWC was right before I joined last year. I do not remember the specific names but it was in River City. BWC 4 man was Bravo lance which meant the Alpha 4 man had a higher ELO.

It was assault before the turrets. By the end of the match everyone was dead besides the BWC 4 man. They had gotten all 12 kills between the 4 of them and their top scorer had more damage than the other 8 of us combined in our 12 man drop.

They put the website in /ALL chat after the victory.

After spectating them and seeing how they play I knew the days of pugging for me were over and I had to go take a look. The rest as they say is history my friends.

Black Widow Company uses a "Diplomat/Embassy" approach and procedure. Head on over and read
http://the-bwc.com/f...dors-Read-here!

Then file an application for Diplomat status here
http://the-bwc.com/f...ruiter-s-Office

That will get the ball rolling in the right direction.

I choose to join BWC because they have great structure, built upon military strukture and a metagame where you get rewarded for your actions over time. This to me is compelling because it adds a whole new dimension to gaming.

You could say that while I'm playing MWO i'm also playing another game at the same within BWC.

I also love the whole mantra about BWC's motto "One Team, One Fight" Concept. Those were the two biggest resons why I decided to join up with BWC.

Ps. What keeps me in BWC Is the comraderie and great friendships I have formed over time. We have a ton of fun together and there is always something fun going on across some of the games that we play. This also means I never really get bored either.

I did a lot of research before joining an organization, and I found exactly the right one for me. I found a group of people who don’t just get together and play, but are highly organized outside of the game as well. The number of people here who step up and help the whole group, who volunteer to fill roles that benefit the team, is phenomenal. This level of organization is fairly obvious even from the outside, even if you look at only the way BWC conducts itself on forums and in game. This organization makes sure that the people inside are organized, with mature and professional attitudes, and a team-centric philosophy. It’s like landing a dream job – professionalism pervades the team, success follows, and everyone has fun BECAUSE of it, not in spite of it.

What were you looking for in a MWO team, and why did you choose BWC?

When I started playing MWO more than a year ago I just wanted someone to play with. So I started looking for MWO clans and that is how I stumbled upon BWC. I was very excited about joining them because I've seen in their videos how they were acting in combat.

After I joined I experienced myself the level of skill and leadership this community has and I was very impressed because the videos can't include every aspect of their gaming experience. I knew I've made the right choice in joining them and since then I've been playing beside them and NEVER got bored.

I have been a gamer since the days of Pong. And when I found MWO i knew running around in a PUG was not the way to go. After looking around in the forums I came across this thread for BWC and gave them a try, never regretted it since. The organization is unrivaled and the team work is a fine tuned machine. I have made countless numbers of friends and on the Battlefield we are unstoppable. They are not just a bunch of gamers they really do act like a big family.

I primarily was looking for coordination and a place to help the team where my skills aren't pro-level. I don't have the time to commit to working every day on playing the game better, so wanted to find a place where I could work within my own skillset and time, yet still contribute to the team. BWC has wholeheartedly met my requirements, and even has training regimens to help with a common base of roles, tactics and communication for the group. Given it's military style, that was attractive as it's more immersive than general communications. BWC has a good sense of playing the game how it should be, with roles and responsibilities for each team member - I like the organization and thought put into running a lance/drop/company.

What were you looking for in a MWO team, and why did you choose BWC?

In MWO playing as one team is ad least the minimum factor for winning drops. As a PUG player mostly it is luck. That doesn't mean that PUGs can't win, but it is much easier and funny in a team. I have a lot of fun with all my BWC mates since I play MWO with them. It is not only leadership, fighting as one team or special tactics and mechbuilds, it is the feeling of being part of a great thing. A great family with the same attitude, the same passion to success. That inspires me. Trying harder again and again.
As already said, I chose BWC for a different game than MWO, but now I log on every single day and have some fun playing with my BWC mates in MWO. Mates in all time zones which all have the same goal.

A dedication to becoming warfighter experts in the game we play

Interested? Join us. BWC

What is the most memorable MWO experience you've had with BWC?
We had a pretty awesome PUG drop where we ran a BWC team of 3 embers. We started well, with 3 DCs on our side and we were seriously under-tonned, but we still managed to get a 9-12 win, with 2 of us on 1 leg and missing an arm.

Two Embers were limping and hiding behind terrain while sniping at the last undamaged Battlemaster with our remaining MLs. Meanwhile the last mobile Ember was running circles around him. When he backed himself into a wall, we all dropped arties at his feed and watched him go BOOM!

Awesome recruiting commercial for the people that were spectating

What were you looking for in a MWO team, and why did you choose BWC?

I played MWO for a few months solo, just kind of wining along, and not doing too well. I finally got tired of getting blasted all by myself without having any sort of organization and decided it was time to look for a group of people to play with. I haven't bene all that active in PC gaming for a few years, mostly sticking to consoles, because I travel a lot and sometimes online gaming is out of the question. So I started looking for groups that had a good reputation as being mature and drama free. Looking around I stumbled upon BWC and saw that they seemed to fit the bill, and also had a large number of members that were former or active military. This all seemed like a pretty good fir for me. Once inside the organization, during my time as a recruit I also found that they had a bunch of different Companies within the MWO Regiment that all specialized in different areas and time zones. If you were interested in tournaments, there was a company for that. If you mainly played at a certain time of the day there was pretty much always a company doing structured activities at that time as well. I feel lucky that I was looking for a group of guys that was fairly laid back that played during the times I was available, and ended up in a company that does just that. Plays for fun, uses the mind game to think tactically and best of all plays during the time frame that I am usually online.

What were you looking for in a MWO team, and why did you choose BWC?
I play MWO to relax after a stressful day, so I like to blow off some steam with my friends. No elitist BS, no whining about how you did or putting people down. We just play and we do our best. Sometimes we suck, mostly we don’t. We work as a team, slagging each other and having fun. If the team is too large, we take turns in drop so everybody is included, not just the pro pilots. While we have a relaxed atmosphere, we still play seriously.

What I liked about BWC is that is has a home for everybody. We have the more relaxed Shield Company where the casual players can find a home. Then there are the line companies that cater for all the timezones and that have a more competitive approach. Still you can easily switch between them based on your schedule and RL stuff. Shieldies are encouraged to join events from the line companies to get to know the teams and get a taste for the 12 man game.

Now this fantastic MWO team will also carry over in the other games that I play, so whenever a game launches, you’re never alone.

One team, one fight!

What were you looking for in a MWO team, and why did you choose BWC?

I was looking for a group that was organized enough to offer training to improve pilot's skills in MWO, and like I mentioned in my previous post, I saw enough of it within my first couple of days to decide to stay in BWC. The training materials and members full of helpful advice that BWC has helped me build my mechs better and make me much more effective in combat. And since BWC supports more games than just MWO, I know I'll have dependable people backing me up no matter which game I play.

I did not play MWO before I joined BWC, I joined because of another game.

But like I have said in other posts, the people that are playing MWO were the reason I kept on playing it, the amount of organization in and out of game is just phenomenal. Without the people helping me I would not have kept playing MWO, if I were to turn out to be a fine pilot then all the thanks would go to BWC.

The question is, what are you looking for in an MWO team.

Do you want an open atmosphere, where a friendly competetiveness predominates?
Are you looking for an organization with a strong sense of commaraderie?
Feeling the desire to join a group with structure - one that will teach you and allow you to move up?
Do you want to have fun.

If you are, then apply to BWC. These are the questions I asked myself before joining this organization. I did my homework, I looked them up, and many other organizations prior to applying. I'm glad I did - BWC meets my needs in a gaming organization. Here I have found excellent training, team-mates, and a fun time spent playing a game I enjoy. Do you think you have what it takes to be one of our brothers / sisters in arms? Apply now.

What were you looking for in a MWO team, and why did you choose BWC?

I was looking for a well organized team, that was highly active. I originaly wasnt really looking for a multi gaming outfit but that was not a bad thing either. One important thing was the teamplay really, as pug drops werent just cutting it for me anymore. Additionaly I wanted to try something new and in all my gaming time I never played with ppl that ran military style.
Last thing I was looking for was something international because thats much more interesting then just a one country team ;)

BWC had offered all that, so I applied!
