My favorite model is the Victor 9S. After studying our mechlab section on our forum (www-the-bwc.com) I reconfigured this one a little bit and it suits me perfect. An AC/20 for short range and two PPCs for the long distance. I like our mechlab scientists, because they gave me an headstart in building and comparison different mechbuilds. Without that it would be much harder and the obviously try and error procedure. So without that, I'm happy and have enough to learn and don't think about the advantages and disadvantages off engine sizes or weapon load outs. My mechs are all BWC colored to present the pride of his owner.
Back on topic, my Vic has brawler abilities, is jump capable and isn't to slow for its weight. With this and my BWC fellows I could manage my first five-kill match.

What has been your favorite IS mech to date in MWO, and why?
I'll have to go with my trusty Jenner. While the Misery I use for pounding out everything I can find, I really enjoy scouting and harassing. Even though the Firestarter is looking to be the meta-induced champion, I like the classic feel of the Jenner, the speed and the damn fine looks.

A couple of months ago I would have said my Spider 5D for sure. I have always loved lights and being sneaky was second nature to me. I gathered intel and passed it along so the Big Stompies could do the hard work. And once my initial task was complete I jumped in and climbed all over the other team being as annoying as I could possibly be.
But since they released the Ember I have changed my mindset from a Scout to much more of a Hunter Killer. I run down enemy Scouts like a Cheetah on a Gazelle. And once the Scouts are out of the way I jump on anything else I find. Before I could take down an Atlas in my Spider given some time and if he was alone. Now I have made the Art of taking on three Assaults and winning my trademark. I get asked all the time to please leave some for the rest of the team, and I do...most of the time.
But if im in a PUG (Which is rare cause I almost always have BWC with me) their all MINE!

Shadowhawk 2H (AC10, x2 MG, StreakSRMs, Max JJ). I'm a medium pilot, and have always done best in an agile chassis. When I first joined I searched through the BWC build forums, and found some great advice from some knowledgable pilots. I chose the Centurion, and have had a good run with it to date - don't get me wrong, I still love the Cents, but the variety of what you can pack into the different Shadowhawk chassis is really quite amazing.
You want a fast streak boat to light hunting? Max that XL engine out in the 2D2 and streak on.
A low heat AC/missile boat? See my above 2H, plenty fun.
Agile medium poptart? Slap an ERPPC on that 5M and get jumping.
Enough reading. Join BWC. Learn MWO. Do some damage.

Hard question as I run pretty much everything and all classes have their place. So I am just going to name my favourite IS mech of each class:
Lights: Jenner F most likely (although the spider 5D comes close) because its such a great dogfighter and also able to take down the big boys. The lack of ECM is a problem currently (way too many LRMs) but its still fast, nimble, mobile thx to JJs and well armed.
Mediums: Oh thats tricky since medium is my favourite class. The Zombie Centurion is pretty great but also the Cicada 3M for backstabbing. In the end the Blackjack is the winner though. Although I cant decide if I should chose the 1X or the 1. The first is great for the massive energy alphas and its speed, The later is the perfect nimble ninja with arm mounted jump capable AC20.
Heavy: The Quickdraw, mostly because running around at 100kph with JJs and 6 medium pulse lasers is just too funny. Sure its a bit hot but also on the recieving end

Assaults: Hm either the victor or the highlander. Because jumpjets, thats why! Assault meching is about preplaning and positioning and thats easier if throwing your fat atlas down a cliff isnt the only means of axial movement that you have.

The Firestarter has been my favorite IS mech. It is a MONSTER with an unquenchable thirst for kills(my personal best is 6 kills in one match. I've hit 4-5 kills many times as well). I routinely get multipule kills and very high damage each drop. It is the A10 Warthog of the lights. Huge firepower and the ability to take huge amounts of damage.
I have always preferred chicken walkers over the humanoid mechs, but the Firestarter has grown on me. With the BWC colors, my FSs are lookin fine.

Very shortly after I became a recruit, while I was shopping around for a MWO community to join, I participated in a field training drop with some of the competitive European players in one of our line companies. Fortunately I had the required mech, and was able to outfit it to the specifications required for the drop. We practiced one specific tactic in a 4-man group of assault mechs...and I was blown away by how effective it was. My views about how to play MWO were changed after that, I saw that effective teamwork could overcome far larger groups of opponents, and I knew that BWC was where I wanted to be.

Sure we couldn't have done it without the help of our public players, however when the scorebord was displayed it evidence was clear and in-disputable.
This was an all out BWC Victory.
Are you tired of loosing? Join the BWC Today...
PS. I'm not sure why the last kill isn't showing. This is still a pretty awesome win in my eyes.
PPS. We have a TON of fun playing the way we do.

It would be easy to say the Jagermech, Highlander, or a Firestarter where I have my best stats. However, my favorite mech so far has to be my Jester. Just something about the laser build in this mech, makes it a deadly force. Maybe the enemy does not see it as a real threat, I do not know. But this is the mech I have the most fun in. Maybe just the fact it was my first mech outside of the trial mechs. The beast alpha strike, and the heat management just add to the fun. This is not the meta build mech used in 12 mans by any means. But if the drops are not going well, I can always count on my Jester as a mech to switch help get me out of any dry spell.

There have been quite a few. Most of them are connected to competetive matches.
One of them is the 1-0 last second (it really was only 1-2 seconds remaining in the drop when one of their jenners went down) win against the red shadows during the lightest drop in RHOD league season 2. We managed to lure one jenner into a corner and then rammed him with 3 mechs to prevent escape. Two AC20 rounds and a medium pulse took him down while he was trying to finish my back and front cored Treb.
Another one would be a 12men drop against some american outfit. They tried to lay a trap and had about 6 fast havy brawlers charging into us while a tag team of two highlanders and a ctf-IM dropped behind us from the big mountain in alpine sporting a total of 7 UAC5s between those 3. I was rearguard with my sniper highlander and almost died in the first volley. Somehow I manged to distract all 3 for over 30 seconds while my team could focus on the brawlers, taking them all down and then turning around and attacking the backstabbers. I dno how I survived that or how they were able to bail me out fast enough but in the end we won 12-0 (our lights won too somewere else) and I was still standing... on one leg, without arms, weapons or armor on under 20% status.

For me, this one is easy. We dropped as a 4 man lance, mixed with pilots from different companies within BWC. Just four pilots who usually do not drop together. Our team fell down pretty quick, losing three right off the bat. The team fought back though, and with about 5 minutes left, we were down to just 4 mechs per side.
A quick review of our damage, we decided to fall back, and use our turrets for cover. An enemy Jager pushed, and we were able to leg him, and finally kill him with about 1 minute left. Just as it went down, LRM's took out our Stalker, keeping it tied at 9 kills each. We saw an enemy stalker in the water (River City Night) so we decided to push him and get one last kill. We finally got in range of the LRM's, and had him pinned under the landing pad. With about 5 seconds left, the Stalker went down. Cheering commenced on teamspeak, and as the match ended, were were shocked to see that our awesome pilot had killed himself by overheating as the clock expired. The match ended in a tie, but was a ton of fun.

Apply to BWC today and stop wasting time playing a game that is best played with a team on your side.
My most memorable experience to date with BWC was the camaraderie that came out of running some 4 man drops as a new recruit to BWC, with some experienced light pilots. Having only been in MWO for a few weeks they really took the time to introduce me to wolfpack tactics as we ran Jenners around the battle field and coring out assault mechs from behind. Thank you xLAVAx, xNoSkillz, Ragnarok, and Turbolag for that early interaction with me, a then MWO (and then BWC) n00b. They set the foundation for me learning a more competitive play-style, and vastly improving my light mech piloting skills - but more than that, you set up a good learning environment where I can now game with people I call friends.

My most memorable MWO experiences are direct linked to a true sentence. Great leaders inspire the best in us.
The first great impression that i got was in our basic training. After the introduction and some very important basics we did some drops with and against PUGs. Our tree people lance was led by a very skilled and true born leader. With this we could win all of our basic training drops and both of us newbies did quite well. That was amazing and a first impression what BWC is.
I’m playing MWO now since 5-6 weeks and i try to get as many trainings and practice I can. As an result and my most memorable experience so far I managed to kill 5 mechs last week. That would not have been possible without my BWC mates.
So great leaders inspire the best in us.

I have so many of them that its hard to put a finger on one in particular lol. Some of the 24hr ones are just crazy when you have people playing for as long as they can before they pass out lol.
I would have to say doing some of the Intoxiops (the name should give you enough to go on) are funny as hell because it combines two of my favorite things, drinking and gaming lol.
But to be perfectly honest I enjoy playing with all my friends in BWC so much that every day is awesome. Even a 4 man drop with people I play with all the time is always hilarious because when you gel with a team as well as most of us do its always fun to win.

We had an scheduled intoxi-session (OP), and as a 12 man group we were decimating everyone with bowl-over tactics. It was one of the most fun experiences in that we were just there to have some fun, and ended up winning quite a bit until our skills tired.... the OPs are generally fun, but in this case the comradery and heckling were choice.

The one on one duels that we did just to have some fun and try to understand how the trial mechs worked. It was hilarious how we waited for both teams to get ready just to see the loading screen filled with very good mechs and still we managed to at least kill half of them or even win in the end.
That was great for knowing each other and getting off some steam here and there.
I am proud to be BWC.
