And don't forget our military from all over the world. Questions get raised like "I'm thinking about joining. What branch, what can I do, etc etc. Answers flood in.

I thought that was appropriate to mention on Veteran's Day.

That’s a good point, and one worth doubling-down on. When I joined BWC, I had no idea just how big it was, not only in terms of the player base, but also the geography that player base covers. Whether it’s a drop, a raid, or an op, whatever the game, odds are you’re going to have multiple accents all speaking the same language.

Honestly, it’s one of the more interesting aspects of BWC, that we get people from all over the world, all interested in the same things, who come together, regardless of country or politics, and just game. It’s kind of awesome. So if you’re the only one in your area, or your country, that’s interested in gaming, give BWC a shot. I bet we’ve got members in your area.

Yup we are a very diverse group. If you listen to our 12 man teams its hilarious to hear the range of accents. Thanks to a good friend I now know expletives in mandarin....not that useful a skill maybe....but highly entertaining during Ops. While we do operate with discipline that does not preclude having fun, to the contrary its even funnier when intermixed with good teamwork someone does or says something Hilarious....as we stomp the other team into scrap.

One aspect I really like is that even though BWC is a large team, it doesn't feel large. We're active, but generally the people you you usually play with are on during your time zones. So you grow accustomed to a smaller cadre within the larger organization. However, when we do have big operations that draw more players in, it feels like a family reunion with all your cousins. :D

Yup when we had the PS2 people play MWO a little bit ago it was awesome. And all the Star Citizen people play other games while they wait for theirs to go into Alpha. But playing with the same people regularly is what makes us great. Everyone knows what to do and how the others tend to play. Its like a well oiled machine....with big guns

The friendly (but competitive!) practice drops against Red Shadows is on Wednesday @1530 EST (2030 GMT).

They gave us a really good impression during our RHOD match. We thought that our win against them was our best performance during the whole season by far, and they also gave a very positive image with their sportsmanship and friendliness. Immediatly after our match was finished several of our players told me to ask if they'd be interested in friendly pratice matches!

BWC covers a wide range of games, so when you get burned out on one, you can do the other with the same great group of guys!

I really enjoy that aspect about the BWC. There are some days when I'm just burned out on MWO and I need a break. Those are the days I can hop into games like Planetside 2, SWTOR or BF4 with people I know. After a day or two of that, I can hop back into MWO with my buddies and get back to stomping robots.

Multiple games was a big reason I joined up too ^_^ but there was a bigger reason that went with it.

The clincher for me was that BWC provides the comms, the organisation, the discipline and the teamwork, without attaching the requirement for weekly training times that most other units do.

You can join a line Company if you want to, train at those regular times, and be part of a consistent team, but if your schedule doesn't allow that, then Shield Company is for you: show up when you can, train when you can, and drop with whoever's around.

That was unusual enough on its own, but throw in that BWC is present in Planetside 2 and Star Citizen as well?

totally sold (and haven't looked back :o)

Yeh the people are what makes BWC great! When i log into TS and see that all of my friends are logged in I know we are in for a night of facemelting lol! I was up till 2am last night had my wife not come and gotten me I would have played for longer ha ha ha.

When you mesh with a group and don't even need TS to get things done its just perfect. Community warfare is almost upon us and we are ready, are you?

The BWC has something for pilots of every caliber. If you're a pilot who's new to the game and is looking to learn the basics of team play and mech piloting, we offer training courses starting from scratch. The results of said training speak for themselves. Over the course of the last month I've seen one of our guys go from never playing the game to being a competent pilot and contributing member of our MWO regiment.

As for the pilots with experience under their belts, we have players that range from hardcore to casual that you can team up with to take your MWO experience to the next level. For those who want a little more beyond that, becoming an instructor might be the perfect thing.

If any of this interests you, please contact our recruiters and give us a shout. We'd be happy to give some insight as to how Bravo Whiskey Charlie operates before you join. And if you do sign up, we have a two week start-up period for you to decide if the BWC is what you're looking for in a gaming community.
