There's a place for anyone willing to put in a little face time in-game. Even Fanbois like Priest :)

Jk Priest! Don't give me another lecture on the merits of Canon please!

I have to say this group knows what is about. Great leadership and great people. Can't wait to see how we do when the game is released.

It's just because the C&S team puts in un-godly hours into the group. Helps BWC members stay in-game longer instead of fighting over what happens next. More in-game time means more training, and more training means we'll be putting our flag into the soil and our mechs onto the next front. It's good to be BWC, Hooyah.

And I thank yall for that. I really do

So what I was wondering was what do yall like the most about BWC?

Also sorry if this may be too tangential but since we got alot of people here so I wanted to do a mini non-poll poll.
So what will yall be using: joystick/throttle or keyboard/mouse?

You sure your voice commands wont go "Mech put boot in A**" & "Mech repeat last command 10 times"?

Ha!

I would tell mine to "do the disco!" to fire lasers.

My question is: how on earth would you steer the thing?! I mean, sure you can say "go right/left," but what if it just spins a perfect 360?

I would enjoy using "make it rain" as the command to fire missiles though.

By the way guys, I just want to say you have a long and interesting history, I hope maybe I get to play with you guys some time. Also Happy 4th.

Hey there ;)

I just read the entire website and wanted to introduce myself before sending an app because my mommy always told me to introduce myslef before sending an app.
I'm a 26 years old french player looking for a serious group so I can waste my life sitting in front of a computer to play video-games...Being a fun-loving win-seeking former-military bad jokes-telling loyal-to-the-end player, I thought I could bring my baguettes, beret and bad french accent to the table. ;)

So I wanted to know if you still had some room left for EU players ? I think I'll lean toward fire support, but I'm flexible and it's hard to say before the game is out.

Peace out ! ... Just kidding, I meant Give them Hell !

Regarding the voice-activated controls... what happens when you get your mech blown to bits and you start screaming the F-word repeatedly?

Now that you've pondered that little one for a bit, you will understand why I prefer to use traditional controls. LOLZ

Yes, *BUT* only if you sign a contract stating that you will be available to say things, on-demand, in French. Like, "Ohhhh, le merde, it is Le Firefly!" or "Sacre bleu!" or "But I am le tired!"

That's awesome, because I'm also considering putting forth an app (I'm not right now because I'm on vacation, not home back at base and suchlike) as a french-speaking, 31-yo military guy that loves what he sees in BWC, likes to have fun and wants to play MWO with people who know what they are doing and are doing it with style and gusto!

... as a matter of fact, it was a post on the french forum that brought me here! Something about 'Le Luciole' or whatnot...

Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself, 'cuz I'm polite like that.

Pleased ta' meet'cha! But seriously, go ahead and drop an app, you will get to know us (and vice-versa) much better if you go ahead and get in the forums/games. Look forward to seeing you on the battlefield my friend!

Color me ignorant, but I decided to look and see exactly what a baguette is......I was WAY off. At least what I had in my head was made of bread, so I won't have to hate myself for more than a few minutes.
