When I say that I had a bad experience, I mean that I had a string of VERY bad experiences that came damn close to snuffing out my life. Not to mention destroying my body as a direct consequence of other people's stupidity in my chain of command. The hazing, abuse and random fistfights are no fun at all, either. I am comfortable playing with other vets, but not being told what to do in such an explicit manner. Too many bad memories associated.
Have fun hope to see you in game.
That being said, sorry for your experiences. I think many have all been there. And regardless of what or how you feel, that's NOT what BWC is. They don't hand a title or role to someone without knowing they can't do their job. And those who WANT to be promoted and in charge of people is purely out of helping other players get better, thus making the company better. Many people in BWC have a "what can I do" attitude. That's because they want to continue to make it a great place. BWC has renewed my faith that it's better to lose as a team, than win as an individual.
Come check us out, if it's still not your style, no biggie. But, wouldn't you at least like to find out?

It also helps aassist in games so there is a clear ability to coordinate attach and defenses.
There does not appear to be any barking order as such. More of hearding cattle and coordinating efforts such as priorities etc. It allows a larger group to work as a cohesive unit
I forgot to say. I really like the people in the group. They are really respectful and mature. Definately one of the best groups I have played with.
I recommend for anyone to try them out. You will be hooked.

I've finally gotten off my butt and signed on with the BWC, and I am very pleased with what I've found. A well organized, motivated and competent leadership, and a core group filled with great people.
if you're still looking for a group of people to join, then in my opinion the BWC is a good place to start. Especially now if you're looking to get into the group / game while everyone is at a fresh start.
As everyone is well aware, this is my opinion. If you'd really like to find out if its a good fit for you, head over to the website and apply. You may just find exactly what you're looking for.

Hey, thanks Thornn!

Personally I never thought I'd want to be anything more than a Private Mechwarrior in this outfit. But the outift gives us the opportunities to advance and participate if we want to. I think that is a fun part of the whole experience. Work and time, yes, but still fun.

I initially was curious how "hazing, abuse, and fistfights" translate into online gaming but I take it that you are probably a former member of the military. That curiosity quickly gave way to a need to protect my teammates as I read multiple good-natured and good-hearted attempts by BWC members to change your perceptions.
I hate to be That Guy, but where others invite you into BWC, I am going to have to say if you take their advice I will deny your application. You have a very large set of misinterpretations about what we are about and I think it's for the best that you continue on the path that doesn't involve joining us. Not because we are what you think we are, but because none of us have time to correct your very incorrect perceptions about us. It would be unfair to you and an injustice to us. Please do not reconsider staying away from us. Go with your gut. Even if it's wrong, it will save us all trouble.
I'm sure you're a really nice person and an all-around cool swell guy, but there is no place for you in BWC. Sorry. Best of luck in your endeavors and I hope you find a place that works for you.

It's a small unit at the moment (12 guys), but it's a good start. It's fully implemented though, with staff and a dedicated DI for the unit.

So I signed up and hope you will accept my application. It's good to hear that you have some people in my TZ. (GMT +1)
The SOP is clear as crystal. The only reservations I do have is that I have a busy schedule due my work so I hope that isn't in the way.
As long as things are planned ahead I can usually make it.

I think they call that exponential growth, rather than influxes. I'm just glad we had the foresight to place growth markers for expansion implementations and a solid training pipe-line. Next order of business is to modify the training pipe-line to apply directly to MWO.

I thinks its that this is a great group in general. I mean the growth must have a root.
