Happy V-Day everyone. The rest of you Duck! Angry wife alert!

Please head on over to the team site and chime in. If no one is going to be around Sunday night then I would like to know now so I can propose another date.

I recently posted to the team forums practice time for this coming Saturday. In case you cannot access the forums please reply here. The game server name will be RTG Home with usual password. We will also meet on NGNG Team Speak Server.

Hanyete, can you make sure that RougeSpear recieves the connection and password information before Saturday night?

We will be working on Movement, Comms Dicipline, and Scouting. We will be using IS MW4 stock mechs for drilling and, if we have a large enough turnout, skrimages. The warm-up period will be anything that you want to bring to the battlefield.

New recruites are welcome.

Hopefully at least a few of the Irregulars will be able to attend, but 9pm EST is 2AM here - would it be possible to make the session a drop in/out from 5 EST? That way we can log on at 10PM here and play for a few hours without having to pull allnighters/combat naps to make it through Sunday. I've pulled too many this week, I don't want anymore :'(!

Thanks for the complements Gopher, and thanks for the training! It was a lot of fun to play with you guys. My Irregulars enjoyed the experience and we learned a lot Hopefully we'll be running a session of some description on Tuesday, if any of you guys feel like jumping in.
I forget who mentioned this, I think it was Racer, who do we need to talk to to get a room on the NGNG channel?

That would have been me, RogueForce. (man, I seem to be doing everything, don't I? ). Talk to Phelan Kell, Phil, or anyone with NGNG/A.C.E.S tags on the TS server. Not sure who has admin permissions, but they should be able to direct you to someone who does.

I'll get on that ASAP, but I gotta ask - where did the name RogueForce come from? I'm RogueSpear and the corp is Rogue's Armoured Irregulars...so what's RogueForce ?
Not that I'm complaining, I kinda like it

No idea, just kind of came out while I wasn't paying attention. But you know, you could be RogueSpear, callsign: Force. Don't know. Anyways, glad I can help.

Hey Gopher, sorry we were running a small skrimmage when you were trying to talk on the TS, trying to teach two new players - one of them found the Arrow IV, Large X-Pulse and Heavy lasers in his first frankenmech attempt, much to the annoyance of the other! But we had fun.
Thanks for the congrats on the channel, the Arcade has no password whereas the Lowly Grunt Café and Officer's Lounge do.
Unless locking the main channel is blocking access to the Arcade o.O
That would actually make sense...Oops! I've leave it in place for now, let me know if you can get into the Arcade. If you can't, I'll unlock it. The logo we've been given for the moment is House Davion, we hope to have our own logo in the next 1-2 weeks.

Yep. figured as much. And I tried, I could get into the Arcade. And heh on the guy that didn't figure out the good stuff . IMO, he should have repliedby boating Inferno LRMS...

do we have another time setup? or are we already done for a while?

We tend to play a couple scrimmages a day in the RAI, but I've still got less than a third of my guys with the game installed. Slowly working on that. We're looking at having another practice for Tuesday from around 6PM to midnight GMT where we're just going to try and get everyone in a 'mech they like, with controls they know how to use/like, and confident in stomping around trying to kill each other. If we have time we'll probably scrape together some temporary lances and run some minor drills near the end. Any of you who'd like to join are more than welcome to join We'll be using GameRanger again and our own rooms in the NGNG channel (Conveniently located just above your own ). I'll give out passwords to our reserved rooms on the night - at the moment they're pretty much only there to look professional

So, that means Saturday the 17th during my afternoon and your early evening are out of the question?
