The website needs an artistic overhawl, or at least some new and fresh art assets...
It's really tiring for the eye, noisy and could use some tactile feedback. Dunno, take it however you want, but before i join, i would like our HQ to feel more FWL than just "purple and the eagle" you know? PS. Happy new year!

I put a new article up on the homepage, give it a read and give me your opinions!

Great article, the real deal.

I'm gonna drive all the M versions exclusively for a while, got all of them but the Griffin (didn't buy the Saber add-on) and Orion.

I was considering getting the Orions too, that clinched it.

Can you do a follow up piece on official paint schemes, perhaps the units where those Mechs are predominantly found?

Cheers!

I agree with this. Though I will admit I am not a registered member, I've looked at the website several times and its just not easy on the eyes. Everything doesn't have to be purple...for starters.

This has been discussed, but myself and the guy who does graphics have been really busy with work the last couple months, we're hoping to get on this soon.

Most Star League era mechs that were manufactured in what is now Free Worlds League space, do not have the "M" suffix, this is only common for post Star League mechs. So you may pass up some very "Marik" mechs, if you only pilot mechs that have the "M" suffix, such as nearly all Hunchback variants as well as Orions, Griffins, Battlemasters and Wolverines.

Also recommend looking at camospecs website. You can see images of minis, but more importantly, get the canon descriptions of different units color schemes. Which is helpful when trying to replicate that in Mechbay.

Had a few different drop groups in the last week and every one of them was good fun with good people. Glad to be in the FWLM!

Also, does anyone else enjoy the irony that the FWL has the most centralized, organized playerbase? I mean, talk about the opposite of the fiction!

I love running into other mariks and going "why don't I know that name?"

Doesn't happen that often.
