I dont think a clan would really be necessary. Most people will just center their targeting reticles on them first before everyone else.

To answer your question no Iam not mad I want to immerse myself in the BT lore while playing without the same old stuff I see everyday on every forum on the internet.

This game IS going FTP, remember? Every whiney 12 year old halo kid with a dial up connection is gonna be able to join and do what he wants to the game, including take a whiz all over every piece of canon he can find in an attempt to make it 'more modern' (And thus, bad)

I don't really want to see this ingame either - its not that I hate ponies, its just some the fans that are obnoxious. I probably honestly wouldn't mind though if it was done tastefully and not shoved in my face. However, they insist on shoving it in your face and when you object to it, you get into a gigantic argument about how you need to watch it first before passing judgement etc etc. Some of these fans simply cannot accept you don't like the show, or don't want to watch it, or are just tired of hearing about it and seeing it everywhere on the internet and so on. There also seems to be a fair number of people who aren't bronies or fans of the show but they troll you with pony. Ain't no drama like Pony drama...

To the Opening Post:

Please keep in mind that references to contemporary culture has a long history in Battletech. We're talking about a game that has, in canon, a Merc company like Team Banzai. Or how a certain famous Mechwarrior is practically a clone of a marvel comic's super hero. And then there's Cranston Snord's Irregulars, whose only existence in my mind was to justify references to late 20th century culture in the Battletech Universe.

So I have no problems with units like the Eridani Light Poly existing in the MWO universe. There's already a precedent for it.

That would make it only a more worthwhile fight to kick the **** out of them for doing such unholy things to BattleTech, wouldn't it? Heck, seems almost like a job for ComGuards, they could even accompany the kicking with something like "Die, infidel scum, for your vile sins!"

I agree but wrong game, free to play titles attract all kind of jerks. Why didn they just make this normal game, buy game and play.

Waaaaay more money in FTP games than in normal games these days. FTP is Pay to play, you just think it's not.

But as I like the concept, I'll happily give my money to this cause.

As already said, more money in F2P.

As well no major publisher wanted to publish a physical SP game... no one thought there was much money ion the MW franchise, it was dead... Man will all those executives kick themselves in the *** when MWO and PGI get swamped with funds, and MWO becomes damn successful.
