18 here, been playing Mechwarrior/commander/assault since I was 5. It's always been my favorite franchise, always will be.

20. Introduced to the Battletech universe by way of MechAssault back in 2002. Downloaded MechWarrior 4 Mercenaries this year when a friend pointed it out as a freeware game I could play on my netbook (I have a gaming rig now though) and jumped into the tabletop game with the 25th anniversary box

I'm in love.

24. First Mechwarrior game was MW2. I have played, MW2, MW3, MW4, Mech Assault, Mech Assault 2, Mechwarrior Dark Age, and the Table top some during high school.

40 and introduced with MW2. Never tabletopped but played a smattering of the later games, read many of the books.

I will be 38 in a couple of days. I got into the game with MW2: Mercenaries and MW2 ( been a staunch warden ever since ), played MW:3, MW: 4 (Vengeance, Mercenaries), MC, MC 2, read several of the novels and trying to get the rest.
Started playing the TT around 10 years ago and have been slowly building up the armies, got roughly 4 IS mech companies and a Clan Wolf in Exile cluster (love them elementals )

Wow, I feel OLD.... I played not only the original BattleDroids tabletop, but the original MPBT from Gamestorm, and was Gamestorm staff, as well as House Kurita leadership.

Now, how about a poll to see how many of us are women? Surely I'm not the only old broad out here.

Do not worry, you will get used to it and you will not even notice people here are about 30 years older than you. Trust me.... 14 years old.
