I was playing the Closed Beta Open Beta Official Release in Japanese earlier this year before I got my MWO closed beta invite. Where were you all? ; _ ;

I think I was under a rock twiddling my thumbs, waiting for an English release xD

I know how that feels, hehe. There are translation patches for the menus and stuff for that game, but the story is still in Japanese, yeah (aside from the Chapter titles). I wanted to get in early because I lurve me some Japanese seiyuu, and the work done by the all-star cast in PSO2 is pret-ty sweet, even if the sheer number of characters and samples does lead to a little repetition/overlap.

Geez, do you guys really have time for all these games? =) I was talking to Diego about the same thing .. so many games, not enough time!

I think I'll stick mainly with MWO and dabble in a few single player games that I have accumulated over the last few months but haven't had a chance to play. Although PSO2 does look awesome ... and Soul and Blade. Hmm, while the graphics look good, is the game really any good? I have had my fair share of Korean games and to be honest most have been really lackluster.

Downloaded! Played! I like me dat voiced story line! I will wrench and cry when it is English dubed! On the off chance it won't be dubbed then I'd pinch myself... On a more realistic hope, hoping that the voice files can be switched to the Japanese one like Aion was albeit it was against the TOS, but I DUN CARE!
I'm liking the game game play so far I like the whole switch classes aspect. Not sure if there is any negative impacting of switching classes like not having all of the skills available aside the initial class you started with... And from the looks of it (with my mediocre Japanese skills) it looks like you have to use real money to buy extra skill trees? Not sure what extra skill trees that is... If you know clarification on that would be awesome.
I'm liking the melee ish force class xD Stuck on which element I want to put my points in :D

Depends on if I really like the game planning on trying out all of of them and sticking to the ones I like playing the best I've been wanting to play an MMO since GW2 was, imo a flop... and Aion got all 'get on everyday to do the daily for dat pvp armor' on me >.<...). If I like all of the games then well... I will...Posted Image while deciding what to do.

Switching to RAnger or HUnter is has no drawbacks, you're just starting the character's new class from the low levels again, and you might need to pick up some basic equipment and possibly a skill disc or two if you haven't been picking them up and using them indiscriminately.

Extra skill trees and skill tree resets are two cash-based methods of reconfiguring your skills in a class. Generally, extra skill trees are better up to your maximum desired number of skills sets you want to swap through (for FOrces usually that's 3, one for focus on each element). As for the element to focus on, I highly recommend Fire, there are skills to hit in that tree that make charged fire spells both fast AND powerful, really great for leveling. I don't know what the level cap is in the game now, but once you max out those charged spell boosts I'd go for the Photon Burst active skill in the Ice tree for even more ludicrous damage, if you have the skill points.

Lots of info on PSO2 here!

I was just readin the forums, it seems like turning off v-sync improves the performance @ 25fps/lower rate..

Just got done trying 13.5 out, myself. It's pretty sweet, I gotta say. Loving the new sprite work, and the music, and... pretty much everything, really.

Can't wait for the full game. Wonder how many characters it'll have?

For the ones that like metal, i just rediscovered Rhapsody of Fire for myself they got some real good stuff

hooked me with

around 2000, though i didn´t knew anything back then, and gave up trying to find the song cuz of bad audio quality the lyrics were hard to understand (and i guess back then my english was way worse ^^)

found the old track today while browsing my music and just had to give it one more try
and luckly it payed off, so enjoy if you like ;D

Happy New Year everyone!

@ Touhou 13.5 *licks lips* That looks amazing. I prefer the fighter Touhou's over the insane laser shows (I suck at it).

Now THAT anime I did not expect you would like. It's all good, will you be on C3 when OBT begins?

I like any anime that 'hooks' me. I, myself, can't tell what show I would like lol... Also, Jormungand was such a bad *** anime! The show reminds me of Black lagoon, but with some kind of overarching plot!

I'll be on C3 if anyone is interested in playing with me ^^b and steam as well since I guess C3 crashes sometimes when I leave it open for an extended period...
Was looking around and you need 20g to open a guild. ;D Gensokyo opening its doors in RO2 xD?

Edit: OMFG They just CLOSED THEIR DOORS TO EVERYONE aside from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam! D:
"Dear Asgardians,

We are happy to announce that OBT will start tomorrow, 3rd January 2013, at 1300 HRS (+8 GMT)! That is less than 19 hours from now!

However, it's with our deepest apologies that we announce we will not be able to provide the RO2 game service to players outside of our optimised countries - Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam - due to our licence agreement with the game's developer, Gravity Co., Ltd.

These aforementioned licence terms will take full effect from the start of OBT tomorrow and we deeply apologise for any inconvenience caused to players. We are extremely grateful for the support you have shown RO2 so far and we thank you again for being a part of this journey. Thank you all!"

I guess... that will free up my time to play other games >.>

Edit 2: No IP blocks it seems.

Rumors of my demise by freak cockpit explosion due to Champagne bottle have been greatly exaggerated. I should be about and active in a few days.
