damn looks awesome! ;) theres one thing bugging me tho its the front of the head. maybe u could make it protrude a bit forward just like the original? it would look even better :P

Back the hatchet off, holding it under the head is only good for transportation. But I like the shape you used for the hatched head.

I'll be honest. The reason the head is like that is because I'm concerned that it'll be an easy prey for headshots at close quarters if the head is bigger or protruded.

I like it.... but pgi is a hell of a long way from anything resembling melee action. The environment is not even destructable yet

True. But only in the TRO art. To MWOify a mech from that, legs and feet need beefing for sure.

That box at the side of the knee is a Jumpjet thruster btw. And so is the one above the heel :)

It could use some thruster effects :D

The folks are right... meeds talons on its feet. It's swinging that thing into solid mech-steel... you would need really solid purchase on the ground.

Im pretty happy they are even talking about putting melee in (see mechwarrior online community event 2012 video on youtube) its pretty unheard of up till now due to the difficulty of implementation (the most we have had was ramming and death from above attacks.) so will be interesting to see how/if that pans out some day and we get to see mechs like the hatchetman or my personal favorite on hundred tons of sword wielding what the fudge
