The game has native support for multi-monitor systems, the main menu / launcher does load in windows mode in the centre of the screen, but the core of the game is horizontal plus and the HUD centred correctly. The video itself is part analysis, part walkthough and part waffle, my commentary need works I know, need more practice, but feel free to like or dislike my video and comment. Also there are screenshots at the bottom for anyone not wanting to watch the video.

While this video can be watched on any screen it has been encoded to look best on a multi-monitor system, so if your running such a system, then select original quality from the drop down box and watch in fullscreen.

Now that gives me the incentive to get my 3rd 23" LED up and running now... have 2 side by side, but have been on the fence getting the 3rd... that is incredible looking...

That is pretty awesome. What kind of graphics card are you using?

I'm using a pair of GTX 680, but as I said in the video, there no SLI profile so performance is a bit sketchy atm, but that'll be fixed when there is a profile ready and they've fine turned the graphics engine. The game looks made for this kind of setup to be honest, the main reason I say that is because the cockpits have been fully done.

Looks awesome

too bad you were playing with the cheesy gausscat, I reckon this would be most usefull in a medium brawler or something.

Why did you name your thread eyefinity if you are running nvidia cards?

@Belorion It named all 3, because it applies to all 3, the fact I use one of the technology doesn't matter if I'm analysing it for all multi-monitor technologies. If there was a difference in the support for one of the technologies then I would of mentioned it in the video, and as far as I'm aware, there isn't any difference.

@Flapdrol I play sniper, what else am I meant to use, besides, Gauss cats are only cheesy at close range.

I'm running 3 27" monitors with I7 3770K (not overclocked yet) and Nvidia GTX 690. But as said above without SLI support it's more like a single 680. Three monitors looks awesome and is awesome. But a major graphic hog! I'm running 6010 x 1080 at medium setting and get abot 30-40fps. On high I get about 30, and 17-20 on very high settings. What fps you are capable of on a single screen and single card you will get a third fps on three monitors. Wish every game automatically came with SLI compatible. :)

I did this a while back and had issues. First and foremost, distorted HUD elements skewed off to the left monitor. Second, when looking around the cockpit I saw a lot of gray area around the geometry at the sides/top, like they really hadn't planned on someone looking at this with that much real estate. Hopefully some of this has been fixed and I'll give it another shot. Haven't had a chance to check out your video (at work) but looking forward to it!

It looks great, but the sides distortion is very heavy.

Its not distortion, its the game engine not scaling properly to the 3 screen resolution, resulting in what is commonly refered to as "fisheye". Its not too bad on this game but some games are horrible.

I have three 24" screens but two of them are doing nothing while playing MWO.

How do I get this running on an nVidia card? Just enablin surround and pick the correct resolution ingame?

I got it running now. I don't notice much of a performance impact and I only have a single GTX680. I went from 1920x1200 to 5760x1200 and the game still averages the same FPS.

It's great, you can see a lot more (you can see out of the side windows without having to free-look) and it adds a whole new level of immersion. I recommend it to everybody that has three screens!

Thanks for the tip Nathan Skidmore! :)

I went back to the 3D surround recently and it seems they fixed the HUD issues. The fisheye is annoying, however. If you just don't look at those screens and catch it in the peripheral it's not too bothersome. Depends on the mech, though. The stalker has these small status screens left and right in the cockpit, but with the fisheye they zoom to about half of the side monitors.

just got this working. Sickness. Thanks for the tip saying it was possible. I heard that you could adjust the dimensions in some config file somewhere to reduce the fisheye..any ideas?

'Sup everyone.

I joined the club of the triple monitor setup some time ago, and i have an issue i'm not able to solve. I'll post a self explaining pic:

Posted Image

The problem is the system renders the central display as if it was a 16:9 or something like that, so the image of the central screen is part on it, and part on the sides.

The monitors are 19'' 5:4
