Oh, gee, 4 man groups, even temporarily.

Bad idea but at least the pubstars will be happy and stop crying in their Cheerios.

Now what to do with this league and these 32+ teams who were all set to play 8v8s, when a 4 man max is waiting around any given corner...

Thanks Paul, I for one am actually pretty pleased with everything in this update. I really appreciate the control over when we start our Founder's premium time. Matchmaking plans sound good, too.

It's both, like he said premium will start ticking at open beta. At some point within open beta (a few days, a week, whatever) a button will appear and premium time is reset/paused. You can then restart it but once you do it can't be stopped.

Oh no, one tournament running during the closed beta might have to go on hiatus for a couple of weeks while a major game feature gets implemented in a way that will make running tournaments like this much easier in the future! PGI how dare youuuuuuu

Probably, but I'll take them at face value when they say soon. A couple weeks to get the UI right and they can have phase two at open beta or a week after. It can't be immeadiate because coding new UI and logic takes time.

Might be a good time to ask for private team vs team matchmaking. Would be nice to not have to time drops anymore.

I'm Curious. When 8v8 premade only match finding is implemented, will it still force mirror weight classes or will any team of 8 go against the first available 8 man team?

Not happy about the 4 person group limit, but being able to choose when premium time starts makes up for it I think. Thanks for listening and thanks for the update!

Excellent! Seriously looking foward to Comm. Warfare. That's a huge pillar, and it'll really be a driving force of the game. A bit surprised there hasn't been any work on Comm. Warfare already, but... well... you guys have a lot on your plates. Make no mistake, the most recent series of hotfixes have been huge in knocking out lag issues and visual glitches/hinderances. Keep up the great work!

this is an excellent update thank you for the info and keep up the good work! (matchmaking is a bit off though I often play with 6 friends how will that work ?)

This is incredible news, can't wait to see how it pans out but I truly think you have tried to do the best by your players and for that you have my thanks!
