All three 'mechs are winners - the Zeus has a nice spread of weapon types, with a bias towards long-range sustained fire, and the heat sinks to stand on the trigger until it runs dry of ammo. Solid performer for ranged fire support, hit-and-run, installation defense, or steady advances.
The VTR-9B Victor has great maneuverability for an assault 'mech, and plenty of ammo to carry out its close-support role without worrying much about conservation. The -9K sacrifices a little close-range firepower for effective fire support at any range - a solid complement to any assault lance.
The Thug is a more aggressive design, with the frontal armor to batter down enemy defenses with PPC bombardment for long range, and the speed and firepower to crush any remaining resistance with a direct assault. It's less subtle than the other two, but an awfully effective design - sometimes blunt implements are what get the job done, and the Thug can nearly match an Awesome in firepower and armor, while moving a solid 10kph faster than a AWS-8Q, and being much more survivable than the XL-engined AWS-9M.
