I would never join an invading clan, since invasion is a violent act based on misguided lust for the appearance of power. True power comes from furthering one's knowledge of oneself, and constantly challenging one's own perceptions on the Universe. All other power is transitory or problematic.

That is why I am a member of Clan Smoke Trees - the only Clan centered around progressive morals and ideals. The only things we will invade are your brains and the only weapons we will use are enlightenment and personal growth. And of course lasers to shoot off all your weapons and leg you. Maybe some PPCs.

Dear Nathan K,
Let me start by saying, that I believe you have made several grave mistakes. The first, was trying to engage me in what was clearly meant to be an aggressive and confrontational way. I will return to why this was foolish later on.

The second mistake, was doing so in a manner that - although it has the aesthetics of the uninformed, self-oblivious forums poster - has no real aesthetic appeal. If you want to challenge someone in writing, then at least concern yourself enough with your presentation, to make your message easily palatable to readers. We are in a public setting, after all, and you will most likely notice that your message gets lost in the boredom of reading your posts. Spice it up! Find a "voice" distinct from your own, and practice that style.

Your third mistake, was confusing progressive ideals with being a "hippy". I realize that you were most likely simply jokingly trying to provoke me, since surely you would never consider disparaging a large group of people, simply because they hold different ideals than yourself - right? In any case, the methods, knowledge, ideals and epistemology employed by Clan Smoke Trees are far from that of any other group. We do not make arbitrary distinctions between "us" and "them" beyond that of being aligned with our overall goals. Anyone sufficiently progressive in thought will likewise regard us as comrades, doing the same work and facing the same challenges. That is simply how the deeply social but logically founded realizations of a progressive mind must necessarily see itself and others such as itself. So therefore, while I do not reject the progressive among the hippies, it would be completely incorrect to describe me or anyone in Clan Smoke Trees as a hippy.

I will not go into deep detail about your attempt at sneaking profanity past the filter, but that was obviously mistake number four. I, personally, do not believe in censoring human expression, but at the same time I believe in being a good guest. That means following the rules of the house, or leaving if said rules are unacceptable. In this house, the owners have requested that we do not swear or use profanity, which is a definition that they themselves are the masters over. Trying to bypass that mechanism which allows them control is misguided - they are not offering a public space, they are offering space in a private setting. Follow their rules or do not participate - simple as that.

Now, I'd like to return to the first mistake - the one about steppin' to me, Third Flower. If you had examined the person you hoped to antagonize, I believe you would have seen that such a thing is not possible. You know how that old saying goes:

For you, this was the moment your childish provocation was crushed, crumbled into a little ball and effectively wiped from existence, by an opponent seemingly completely immune to your attempts at manipulation.

For me, this was Tuesday (I predicted these events Tuesday and wrote all the posts ahead of time - it is what gives me my edge in Clan as well as forums warfare).

Which brings me to my final point, liking my own posts. Of course I "Like" my own posts. I mean, look at it! Wow!

Even with 2.0, it still has BV of 1417.

Sadly, I like the original configuration of the Warhammer, which I why I extremely prefer the Warhammer IIC, when I go into pitched battles.
