Clan would be either the Timber Wolf D (love the Streaks) or the Mad Dog B (Streaks again).

Inner Sphere would be either the Black Knight Clanbuster or the Highlander 732.

Velfolger VR5-R just because it's a Kell Hounds mech. :) On an unrelated note, when will it be programmed in game :)

For Inner Sphere:

Quote

KGC-001 – One of the so-called "Clanbuster" variants developed in the lead-up to the Battle of Tukayyid, ComStar's techs replaced the twin autocannons with two M-7 Gauss Rifles, trading a minor reduction in destructive capacity for greatly increased range. Also, the Large Laser was upgraded to a Tronel XIII Large Pulse Laser and two Hovertec Streak SRM-2s with a single ton of reloads were added. These changes were accomplished by using an extralight engine in place of the standard model. [10] BV (1.0) = 1,714[11], BV (2.0) = 2,221[12][13]

Basically a primitive Gauss Cat, used by Comstar when push came to shove. Convergent evolution.

So honestly:

1- Clanner going for Glory: Daishi A

2- Clanner being Tactical: Naga

3- Inner Sphere/Comstar: "Clanbuster" King Crab/ Heavy Gauss Cat

Honestly had the Clans brought more Nagas or Artillery in general maybe they would have actually won.

Hate to say it, but that Black Knight in that link is not my idea of a Black Knight. Looks more like the Tin Man. The MW4 BK is an elegant mech.

I'd never be a clanner. And for the IS - I would take a Spector SPR-4F (Star League 'mech, not the -5F version which was only introduced in 3053). At 35 tons and only armed with a Large Laser and 2x Mediums, it combines:

Guardian ECM Suite
Null Signature System
Chameleon Light Polarization Shield

And it also has good mobility at 119 kph and 210 meters of jumping distance.

So I can disengage from battle, run and jump away to hide somewhere, leaving the clanners for ComStar to fight.

Hellbringer(Loki), Alt. Config. F
I rarely survive an entire fight, so 8 tons of armor isn't a problem.
