Most of Murphy's laws of combat are in there as well.

mh, sometimes BT-Logic is brainf*ck. But yeah, Dark Ages are from time to time the even worse than some Warhammer40k stuff :P

it´s more like : Spess Mereens are op. All the rest is useless. Played Tau, because i loved the design, i had sometimes a hard fight. But against Space Marines. No way. They´ll steamroll you. Even worse : Grey Knights. Those guys , expecially the Terminators are invincible. 2+ armor :P u mad ? And 3+ escape roll B) U more mad ?!

It depends on how you view the background, but to claim Matt Ward ruined the fluff, (Sorry to rag on you a bit Chaos) is mildly absurd considering most of what he writes is not as fleshed out as some things and he comes off a bit fanboyish. The internet takes his flaws and claims they are the rule, instead of a single writer's perspective.
Plus we're talking about an entire universe that realistically has thousands of different perspectives on.
But that's off topic to the extreme. Need to scheme further for my Bio.

well, we could have a few J-27s along. They only weight 10 tons. give them their full load in oxygen, maybe 1 for oxygen, plus 2 for ammo. Aegis can ride around in one. 11 tons of oxygen equals 44 hours roughly. Once the Bio-dome is up and running it could replenish its supplies there, giving us a bit of cushion if we have to be away from the base for a long time. note a fully loaded J-27 weighs 17 tons counting vehicle weight and ammo.

Yeah I'm looking at scouts trying to find something that's just right, without grabbing a Raven.

I was eyeballing the Pack Hunter (I love that thing.) I was also looking at a Sha Yu and was thinking how much I'd love to have that thing in a RP... Not sure how CG would feel about Stealth Armor though..

ok now I'm confused as hell, is the 10 tons now an additional tonnage needed to a vehicle on top of the environmental system? If not then is it not also possible to put and air purifier and recycler into the crew compartment of a tank? Seems silly that you couldn't considering we have similar devices already in place in some of today modern tanks.

Oni, I think Chaos is talking about the tonnage of the vehicle, for every 10 tons it weighs, you get 5 hours of air, right? Also, what happens when you have a number that doesn't end in a tens divisible number? Like 75, or such? Should I stick with the odd number? Or should I round it?

Although setting up a Recycling System might not be a bad idea, say it's a 2-3 ton system, and purifies X hours of air in Y hours, make it a ratio that is worthwhile, but not OP. Like make 1 hour of air breathable after two hours of purification?

Chaos, did you ever decide if Aerospace would be able to function on the planet due to the Atmospheric conditions?

Since I've figure out my bio, might as well post it up here.
Name: Tyla Horst
Age: 36
Occupation: Technical Specialist (Base Maintenance)
Gear: Along with her hostile environment suit(a full body suit with 60 kg of O2 stored in back canisters), she carries a personal data pad and numerous tools of her trade in a sort of briefcase/toolbox. Her clothing is a stark black, to conceal most of the grime that any Tech Specialist can expect to encounter during work. She also has a small snub nosed pistol with two spare magazines.
History/Appearance:
Tyla is an odd person. Her father wanted a son to continue his legacy and he ended up with a daughter. Although he tried his hardest to let her be herself, she ended up as much of a nut into machines as he was, ending up getting work with some backwater mercenary group she dumped after she had saved up enough to get better employment. She continued to work on machines, hiring herself out as a tech specialist tot the highest bidder, often ending up with more work than she could conceivably handle. She is unremarkable, short red hair and an average physique. Her clothing is loose and unflattering, her HE suit completely hiding the fact that she is female except for her voice, a sort of angry squeal. She normally avoids most high stress jobs, a sort of natural temper flaring up every time a situation becomes stressful, and unfortunately she has a long vocabulary to match her anger.

And of course she's the only one without some form of heavy weapon......

avoiding high stress jobs she says... LOL

also, we changed 1 hour from 300 kg to 250 so we could evenly put it into tons. and I hope that suit comes with an exoskeleton...

Also, Aegis I will note that while the base is being repaired, at least 1 of my Lariot's crew is going to be near you at all times. After all, you are the only real tech here.

Yeah, one hour of oxygen equals 250kg extra vehicle weight
A person can carry one hour of oxygen too ( Sounds odd, but i think it´s fair)

Stealth armor is ok :D Just don´t play the ultra invisible man :D

Aerodynes ... dunno, if you want to get wrecked by some sort of ice-storm, you can do it, it´s just a warning ;D
