OP i am sure they will have some form of starter package when the game launches and you can get that one, but as others have aaid the founder pack was never a pre-order of the game. At best you could call it a "early bird special".
And as others have said it was intended to end a looong time ago.

The only "mistake" they made was delaying the open beta, if they had gone ahead with the original plan the founders offer would have ended on the 14th and open beta client patch on the 16th would have removed the founders advert from the client so you would never have known founders ever existed if you turned up for open beta start.
I don't see any cause for complaint here as founders was an offer for very early adopters to help them get the game developed, by turning up for open beta day (open beta in F2P is basically release) you are in no way an early adopter.
There are bound to be offers in the future you can take advantage of so keep the money you just saved for these as you are basically only losing out on a mech (or mechs) with a 25% cash per game attached to them - everything else can be bought just the same if you purchase some MC with that cash you never got to spend.
