Your thoughts?

The Highlander is a fat Centurion. And there will be similar variants. :-)

And that´s what i like :-)

You do realize that PGI does not have to follow TT variants right? So who is to say that they will not take liberty's with the Highlanders weapons load out?

Highlnader burial... nuff said.

That mech is a brutal, unstoppable killing machine even without and weapons and the thought of DFA-ing Atlases is really pleasuring.

Maybe it didn't cross your mind, but the 733C has one arm that has an upper, lower, and hand actuator while the other arm only has an upper actuator. Until now PGI hasn't had to deal with a Mech like this (except the YLW, but the other arm has no weapons anyway, so the point is moot). Will they allow the 733C's arms to move left and right? But maybe less so than the other variants

Actually, it did cross my mind - as did the fact that whatever solution PGI chooses to resolve the issue can also be applied to the Victor, which is in the same situation (AC/20 in the Right Arm with two actuators, twin Medium Lasers in the Left Arm with four actuators) and has quite a bit to offer to MWO.

Hahaha, it completely slipped my mind that the Victor is in the same boat.

I can see PGI giving the Highlander 733C more torso twist and fast convergence to try and cover for the loss, but with the Victor? Ya, that wouldn't work since essentially every single variant that we could potentially get functions with this problem. They will definitely have to do something about that.

So...

Potential Hero Highlander: "Eddie", piloted by an unknown/unnamed masked MechWarrior
Listed in TRO 3050 Upgrade, pg. 220 - described as having first appeared during the War of 3039
Noted for its distinctive paint scheme - bright red with crisscrossing black and white stripes
Loadout not listed (giving PGI a bit of free reign)

"Some say the MechWarrior refers to himself as 'BattleStig', and that his most famous ancestor was a mute who operated racing vehicles for an early holovid-analogue. All we know is... he pilots 'Eddie'."

Yea and I REALLY REALLY, hope they include physical damage soon. So that the "DEATH FROM ABOVE" jump jet attack can be VERY useful when needed! I LOVE jump jet mechs. I cant wait for a Jump jet Assault mech!

While were at it... BRING OUT THE "VICTOR" 80 tonner too, Please!!!!! :)

I'm looking forward to introducing the Justice Foot to anything that'll move predictably for long enough. It's something of a personal goal to land on a death-spiraling Light 'mech.
