There is no Black Watch, and if they existed, you wouldn't know about them There is however, the Windbourne Highlanders (nee Northwind Highlanders...transmogrified...somehow...from the days of MekTek)

but after two decades of mechwarrior,you guys should be first implementing a quad legged mech!
this would be the very first time in history a quad legged mech enters a videogame!go for it!

Beautifully redesigned by FD too. Absolutely identifiable as a Highlander with all the updated greatness of a FD design for MWO. Great job.

No it wont be in the game for a time. If you havent been around what they do is announce a new mech and it waits in line with others that have been announced. Originally they were going to be added into the game one a month but it is taking a bit longer. There is a nice write up on how they create mechs hopefully someone will link it. Next mech to be added ...hopefully this coming tue, is the cicada . Cicada was announced May 9th. Following the trends so far we will see the highlander in about may 2013.

Mechwarrior 2 had the Tarantula... quad-mech for one specific mission. Know your Mechwarrior history dude

Also... FD... and Devs, once again, awesome work in keeping myself glued to the BT/MW franchise!

The unit insignia on that Highlander's Left Arm appears to be that of Hansen's Roughriders, a former FWL line regiment that became a mercenary regiment with a history of service to House Steiner and the LCAF/AFFC.
