King Crab! Always loved the model.
The 'Mech is even better with both AC/20s replaced by Gauss Rifles (especially if your opponent expects a standard spec, hehe)

And as 2^n people already remarked: meh @ Banshee. Next you want us to wait for the classic Charger... :)

Went with the Devastator. Annihilator is good, but the Devastator has more fear factor. Tried piloting an King Crab once, liked its little brother better. And the Imp?

Couldn't bring myself to vote for Mech that reminds me of Marvel Comics Modok....

As for the Banshee... Gods. The 95-ton is such a gimp weight class, isn't it?

Not if a full Mechlab is available. You can kit the Banshee out like this (at least using TT stats):

Top speed: 64 KPH
XL engine
Endo IS
20 Double Heatsinks
18.5 Tons armor (full armor for a 95 ton mech)
2 ER PPC
4 ER Large Lasers

You can't do that on a 100 ton mech. The math just won't work out.

The long range alpha does _more_ damage than you can get from a Devastator. Yes, the Devastator can do its alpha in a heat balanced manner, and this Banshee version can't. However, if you are disciplined in your firing pattern it is a very deadly version, especially since it isn't ammo dependent like the Devastator.

Why even cry about the 3E Banshee when Steiner has its 3S?
2xPPC
1xAC10
4xMedium Laser
1xSRM6
2xSmall Laser

That beast wrecks face

Love your bonus Q!

I'd pilot the Banshee before any of the listed 100 tonners.

Yeah, thats right. 3E chargin' at ya!

The King Crab.

Personally, I would love to see the Banshee, but it's more for physical attacks and MWO won't have them.

In the 95-ton bracket, BNC-3S is the obvious choice, except maybe the BNC-3M, which is also pretty good. (Well, until we can get a BNC-5S, which is head-and-shoulders better!)

Hoping FD is able to give some redesign love to those head & shoulders...

Has to be the devastator.

Banshee is pretty disappointing, honestly. I like the 'Mech in general, but I just can't see the 3E variant being anything other than a piece of junk. The 3S, on the other hand, would actually be interesting.

I had to vote for the devastator on this one. Unless i am allowed mechlab and xl engines i would never pilot the annihilator. it is way to slow. I do like the king crab in concept not on the battlefield.

KING CRAB in city fighting it a beast on the field pull the ac's put in the gauss's drop the lrms up the ammo for gauss and add a laser er large and I would take it to the gate of hell!

KGC-001 is close in design but i woulg go double large laser er version instead of pulse or srm. That design can handle anything at any range.

Well if those are my only options its Devastator and Banshee, but for a 100 ton mech my chioce goes for the Daishi.

so where is all the speculation that the banshee was just confirmed as in the game given the 3 options in the bonus poll were all the same thing?

cause .... ya know..... pretty sure that's what just went down

I had a Banshee 3S and then 5S for a bit in an assault lance.

2 PPC plus a gauss rifle is some mean work, don't even mention the secondary systems.

Voted for Imp. And Banshee.... or was it Banshee? Nah... 'twas Banshee ;)

Wish that Melee Combat was implemented... a Banshee would slap you silly!

King Crab for me. Dual AC/20s? Cool looking claw hands? Yes please.

As for the Banshee. Is there another 95 ton Mech? ;)
