Where's the poll option for the BNC-3E Banshee? Seriously disappointed. :)

I see what you did there :)

Devastator for the two gauss rifles and extra mobility. For 95 tons, I like the Banshee BNC-3E. It offers the best all around performance out of the three 95 tonners listed.

Devastator just barely beats out King Crab.

I went king crab. 2 AC 20s is nasty. Real nasty. Then you have decent mid-long range with the large pewpew.. Then some lrm 15s for fun? Not bad. To add to that if I get the picture right that would be one low profile for an assault. Maybe easier to keep good cover to find where you want to be?

Sorry, someone already won earlier in the thread.

But as a consolation prize you receive a FREE copy of the game when it comes out.

Cheers.

(Psssst , its the ONLY 95 tonner at this time)

The Annihilator is so slow that for all intents and purposes it is a barely mobile gun emplacement. So that rules it out.

King Crab - heavily ammo dependent. Not feeling this one.

Imp - nice load out. No need for battlefield reloads. Better.

Devastator - heavy weapons spread out evenly across the locations. No one shot, barring a torso core, is going to seriously dent the dps. We'll go with this one.

Banshee - A 95ton sniper Mech? Really? Uhm... how about... no to all three. wait... I have to vote for one anyway?! O_o

King Krab. I would kill to see this thing in MWO with FlyingDebris' touch on it.

Am I the only one that caught that 95 Ton poll are all referring to the same mech? Banshee, Banshee BNC-3E and BNC-3E are 3 different ways of saying the same thing (as in these aren't even different variants) or am I missing something?

Picked the Devastator. I love Gauss Rifles. I do.

I'd pick the Annihilator next for all those giant shotguns.

I love AC/20s too but as a person coming from playing the tabletop game, I hate AC/20s on slow assault mechs (except in city scenarios). In most other scenarios, AC/20 assaults like the Atlas and King Crab are "LRM events" that go "Every round, something on the field will fire an LRM." By the time they get within meaningful range, long range fire from better mechs has reduced their armor so that they're just damaged, slow-moving heavies.

As for the Banshee... Gods. The 95-ton is such a gimp weight class, isn't it?

the deviestator is the best shape of the mechs i can see, in a brawl it would be able to spread the damage of a circling mech, its not round, you you cant center torso it from the side. also great weapon load out.
