100 ton 'Mech poll here! (With bonus!)

The Banshee is actually a pretty good command mech, and I think people under rated how effective it can be. It's so massively over armoured and under gunned that people don't tend to waste time shooting it, so it generally survives to get into close combat where the machine is devastating.
I recently had a character pilot the 3E in a RPG and I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun it was to pilot and by how effective it ended up being.

OT:
Anyone else wondered why they named a pondering and massive BattleMech that has no stealth-like characteristics "Banshee"? We may never know.

The only problem is, they're virtually nonexistant outside of the Wolf's Dragoons/Clans during this time period. If we ever see it in-game, it will likely be during and after the events of the 3050 Clan invasion - not before.

Anyway, I love the Crabsies, so King Crab. For all the powermongers, keep in mind that while Devastator may seem very impressive it has XL engine and I hope those will get properly balanced in the game (such as, your 'mech blows up from left or right torso damage too, not just central torso).
King Crab itself could easily fix it's limited ammo supply with XL engine. Actually, it could fix that with just double heat sinks (since that would free 5 extra tons).
(Edit) On further thought, it's actually likely that we would get the low-tech DVS-1D Devastator, not the stock DVS-2.
So Devastator really is 100 ton heavy with:
2 AC/10
2 Large Lasers
4 Medium Lasers
Though it has not yet been confirmed or denied if there will be Lostech (such as XL engines or Gauss Rifle) initially.
Actually the Devastator DVS-2's production year was 3048 so i see no reason why it shouldn't be given the field....thats not to say you may start our with the DVS-1 then work your way to the DVS-2 but i'm still all for the Devastator.

Ditto Annihilator, Hoplite & Shogun. All of which have featured in these polls, so they are clearly in the running. Besides, we've already been told that all initial release mechs will be available to all players at the start, but you'll pay extra for mechs not normally associated with your faction. So we need at least 1 mech in each category for each faction. All these Wolf' Dragoons mechs are for the Mercenary faction.

The Banshee BNC-3E was the first assault I ever used.
If we're going to get the Banshee, I will take it as a 3E. 3Q would be fun in a city and 3S would make me a very happy mechwarrior.

And every mercenary who plays this game belongs to the Wolf's Dragoons? Yeah that'll go over well with everyone.

Hey quads are mechs too. Horrible, horrible mechs.
"The Quad 'Mech uses its "arms" for legs which gives these designs some additional stability and maneuverability (such as sidestepping, also known as lateral shift movement). The concept was much maligned for sacrificing the overall versatility of BattleMechs and the early designs, notably the Scorpion and the Goliath, proved flawed, being notoriously difficult to maintain and highly susceptible to breakdowns. It was only around the year 3060 that improved technology led to new quadrupedal 'Mech designs, although the stigma associated with the general concept still lingers. Bipedal BattleMechs remain the vastly more common 'Mech."

Annihilator?
Devastator?
King Crab?
Imp?
(And for the bonus - will it be the: Banshee? Banshee BNC-3E? or the BNC-3E? Vote now!)
Am I an id-i-ot or is the Banshee, Banshee BNC-3E and BNC-3E the same mech...
Edit: Really? Can't even call myself that?

I hope I wasn't the only person who saw this. Standard response initiated:
Atlas - Already confirmed in the game.
Daishi - Properly named the Dire Wolf, is a clan mech, which won't be seen for a few years.
