Dude, this design is as old as Mackie. Mackie, for Kerensky's sake! That will be more than 500 years old for MWO's "now". It's sluggishly slow and has an armament of a medium at best. As for armour, BNC-3E has 15 tons, but is it that much for an assault? Awesome has the same amount of armour while being 15 tons lighter and having a decent loadout. Atlas has 19. Oh, and it costs almost as much as Atlas with Awesome being almost two times cheaper(TRO values but still). Who would take this instead of an Atlas? And what for?

I find your lack of BT knowledge disturbing. MW4's era will not be for some time, so feel free to educate yourself here in the meantime.

Annihilator?
Devastator?
King Crab?
Imp?
(And for the bonus - will it be the: Banshee? Banshee BNC-3E? or the BNC-3E? Vote now!)
Redundant last part. Banshee, Banshee BNC-3E and the BNC-3E are all the same mech... unless you mean. BNC-3S, BNC-3E, BNC-3M, or BNC-5S. Those are difference Banshees.

It's technically available, I'm not saying it's not. But it has not been confirmed or denied if the initial game will have lostech. If it's no (think MW2: Mercs early game) then obviously no DVS-2. It might be available in-universe, but just not for players.

I am sick of seeing people asking for Clan Mechs from 3060-era.
Also someone needs to retrieve TheSpartan from that hole.

If they keep to the original variants for each 'Mech, and allow us to buy the rights to those variants in mech lab, then that is how custom mechs should be, we should not allow a Catapult to mount twin Gauss Rifles and twin large lasers, that is just not fun or true to BTech...Only the richest should be allowed to bastardize their 'Mech in such ways, House leaders, nobles, and very, very wealthy mercs...
We should be able to change weapons and equipment (modules as equipment?) in mech lab, such as replacing a Streak-6 SRM with an LRM-15 or replacing a Large laser with an AC/5 or AC/10, whatever is balanced and within the rules, but replacing dedicated missile mounts with Gauss Riffle mounts, such as I've seen with the Catapult, should not be allowed, it breaks balance and btech rules.
Sorry for the off-topic, but we ARE voting on variants, I think I should put some commentary down as far as how far MWO should go in the mech lab, especially with variant 'Mechs.

Believe it or not, many people here don't live and breath MechWarrior/BattleTech - that does not make them "console kiddies" (as you put it). Shocking I know.

B: XL engine.... Basically an overpriced paperweight if it looses one side torso section, I'll pass.
C: Not enough ammuntion for it's main guns, atleast it doesn't have an XL engine and has more armor than most heavy mechs.
D: Best of the lot, Ugliest too.... Worse than an Urbanmech actually.. I'll pass
Hmm no vote from me.. Maybe if the factions had decided to bring the original Titan (TI-1A) into production I would have had a choice I could have made (reference: http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Titan_II , it is the first of the listed variants).
As for the bonus... Ha Ha Ha............. eeeeuuuuuucccchhhh!

You realize the ANH was designed as a practically stationary weapons platform for defense, right? 4 ACs, 4 tons of ammo. Perfect sense is made. Furthermore, the tech exists in 3049 for the ANH-1X, which IS protected by CASE. I don't know off-hand the date of availability of that variant, though.
Furthermore, the ANH looks *fantastic* in that "AHHH! IT'S GOJIIRA!" way. B-) No better mech for pounding the Snake- I mean "dragon". /eyeroll
