One thing we've all been a bit worried about from the art is the leg length. It's a great design in the upper body, but the legs look a little.. stubby. When converting it into a model, if I have any criticism (I've really liked all the designs thus far, my favorite being the Catapult remake) it's that.. they really feel like they should be a tad bit longer. That said, I really dig how they made the shoulder armor look like it's actually protective rather than being giant arm mounted racing fins. That's a good change.
Still, I'm extremely happy to get the Awesome into the game and can now rest easy that two of our favorite 'mechs (the other being the Jenner) are confirmed!

Also we dont know that each strike was a full volley of the PPCs in the end of the story she is poping off rounds one at a time.
She would be running hot, but to take down a single Atlas when you know the enemy is a distance away, it is what i would do. take the heat and risk the shutdown to save the armor for the main conflict.
(the better question is what ***** in the Atlas pushes ahead alone? and tries to backpedal from fire. No doubt some self entitled son of a nobleman)

Neat.
Very faithful to the original even though it aesthetically resembles his newer designs. The smaller amount of segments helps give it a solid look, which is appropriate for an Assault.
Me likey. So that brings me to liking the majority of the designs now.
2 Lights, 2 Mediums, 2 Heavies, 2 Assaults. The first and last was an assault. What will the ninth one be?
