personally i think the worst part is u cant play around with ur build and the upgrade stuff in the mechlab without saving and thus permanently buying it ... have wasted millions fiddling around with ferro armor, endo and DHS

with the engine changes invalidating a lot of the old builds this really becomes a bit of a problem it seems to me

also while yen lo wang looks sweet .. over 4000 mc seems harsh .. thats like 12 $ ... for only ONE mech ... hard to swollow, but I guess I m just a broke bum

I mean dont get me wrong its appreciated the patch arrived, some of the visual changes are quite nice (new launcher, skins ..)
keep up the good work and all that ... unfortunately lots of issues, too, so try to fix the less then ideal work as well plz

Best patch so far, when I tried it felt like a whole new game to me. Much appreciated! Just add community warfare and I feel like the game is almost ready for release.

Nice patch only issues i am having is the crashing while doing loadouts on mech.

I'm glad the crash on exit is fixed. Played 5 games tonight, it was fun. Looking forward to further refinements!

Though I suggest you guys to reintroduce the mech collision to another mech based on classes, mechs' momentum and weights difference in the next patch. It would seriously ruin the fun if light mechs did not get tripped by heavier mechs.

PS: AWESOME-9M is introduced is another good news. :)

The collision system is not final :)
And once it is: A jenner could trip a heavy, or maybe an assualt without falling himself if he runs full speed ahead ( those XL engine Jenners run FAST).
Furthermore I would like to see getting up speeds not only weight dependend, but actually mech dependent. ( Mechs without arms should take longer)

Anyway, back to the patch:
FF and Endo steel work fine so far.
The client closes corectley, although that somehow didn´t make it into the patch notes.
Haven´t tried dobule heat sinks yet.
Didn´t notice anyFPS changes. ( for better or worse ;) )
The Centurion can´t be put to elite with the removalof one non-MC variant ( especialy sucks since I had elite beofre the semi-wipe).

PPCs still suck.. they are artificial lighning for gods sake why do they behave like a balistic weapon?!

Oh and although new features are all nice: Please fix the view distance. Things get to blury too fast. Seriousley, especially inz oom mode.. you can´t tell me that a mechs visual sensors are not able to give a clear picture over 800m.

Edit: nearly forgot: The new launcher is great. Finaly something decent.

great patch except collisions
earlier I cant hit lights properly in close combat due to lag/desync (fps 75, ping 140, Cat with 4MPL)
only hope was to ram em
now its getting even worse

Just guessing here, but I get the feeling collisions (are being/were being) worked on to add in landing on another mech from above and to make the collision detection better. I trust if they could have left collisions in (in a working condition), then they would have.

Has anybody else noticed that their xp is not going up? I also have a mech stuck in game right now and cannot get it to cancel.

Not fix massive FPS drop of Forest Colony map , and what the heck put limits of 60 FoV , hey this is PC games right?And the view is from the cockpit always , right-this is 100% non-sens.
Missing any statistics how much cost repairs and ammunition

Yes they still come with 10 free heatsinks but they can hold more that you need to add. Not sure how many. A 300 holds an additional 2.

Good Patch,



So I get it that you have to pay once you Headsinks exchanged Doubel. But why have to pay again if I want to have in it back to normal. So you can try anything.
The money for this one has not even stop by to try a little.

I'm not able to even get the patch downloaded without it erroring out on me. Is anyone else having this issue?? I've uninstalled and trying to re-install and it's still crashing out.

Why is the economy so broken? Shouldn't I make more credits playing my own mech vs. a trial mech...I'm actually losing credits for playing if I play a missile boat and lose the match...seems pretty crappy that you're pushing players to stick with trial mechs if they wanna play solo for a bit and actually make any decent profit. I mean if I have 15,000 in performance credits but lose the game I should not end up with negative profit as I did earlier after rearm and repair.

What on earth did you guys do to performance?! I thought the patch was delayed to fix this, if this is 'improved' over what was going to be released, that must have been shocking. I am getting 10-14 FPS now which pretty much renders the game unplayable now.

Not happy....

Same here, used to run perfectly before, touched nothing, now it's unplayable.

I'm going to try the lapop nVidia GPU fix thing when I come back from work.

Are you using one Bootsock ?
