Good job on this patch Dev. team! I'm enjoying it a lot, and there is a ton of new content to play with. It might even keep people busy tinkering with new builds, until the new maps come out, instead of complaining ;)

Haven't had the chance to play yet but so far I heard double heat sinks don't work? Would be a shame, i've been waiting for them for a long time!

Also I'm not sure but will the MC spent during this phase of the beta be given back later?

Great patch and the new menu interface is perfect, still waiting for a proper heads up display for targeting and navigation and intergration of map and damage indicators into the Mech cockpit.

Knocking down mechs is a must. I look forword to seeing that back in game......

DHS dont work as they should. This is the bug right now. It does not change at all when switching between SHS and DHS.

I used a jenner with 12 SHS. after this i switched them to DHS. The heat was exact the same as it was earlier. The double dont work right now as it should.

I need to do more tests to find out a bit more.

The higher prices are painful during repair/reload. If I can easily rack up a -80,000 without ever using DHS,Endo/Ferro,XL, and coming out alive and victorious. I sure don't feel too victorious when even my cheapo mech's repair bills cut my winnings in HALF! I can only shudder and imagine what anyone using the new tech or XL engines must be going through right now.

overall, nice patch.

i agree with the large number of folks who are very concerned about returning some amount of knockdown (and i pilot mostly lights). right now, uber jenny pilots are deadly and drops with 4 or more lights are becoming common.

i also think the dhs are not working right or need a bit more explanation of what you are thinking alone the lines of how they work. they do seem to help some at times, but not as much as expected.

Yes, there will be more resets. There will be at least one final reset for sure when closed beta end and the open beta start. And this will be a final and full reset.
Devs said this already endless times. It was posted and said more than once. Spend all your current MC on stuff to try around. You will get them back.

One more who cant read patch notes and using cabs to show his own stupidity.
We are not pass the closed beta. This is still closed beta, so you should come down and first think what you post. And guess what, there will be at least another reset.

But yes, the announced map was missing. But still no reason to get loud.

It looks like Frosted's comment on full CBILL-refunds is pertaining to later, when the game is in OB. .."you better refund all IF you ever do wipes PAST CLOSED BETA."

That's how it reads to me, anyway.

Actually... when they released the LAST patch... they said there would be no more resets UNTIL Open Beta... unless something goes horribly wrong... I presume then that something went horribly wrong

Knocking down was cool, realistic and helpful so why did you remove it?

Something along the lines of:

"You will only fall down half as often." would have been appreciated, but to remove it!??
I really hope this is temporary!!!

THIS is what I was confused about.. They said last patch that there would only be ONE more reset. What I want to know is if this is it or if something did go "horribly wrong?" That is all I am asking... I realize that this is still Closed Beta. But they did say last time that only one reset would happen after the last. I am hesitant to spend my MC until I know if this is the final reset or if this is a reset that was unscheduled.

So if the Devs have answered this question about THIS patch then please post a link to that answer.

Cent ah/d makes sence after you explained it devs, np.
Several new bugs ill report via tickets (undead mechs, stuck locations now that cant fall, etc)
Engine internal heatsync thing is too confusing for avg gamer when goes live imo, youll need to fix this
Refund rate for ff to std and endo to std should be free even if have to buy to upgrade again imo.

Overal best thing i have ever tested.

It's going to be brought back. This game is meant to be a bit of a sim, and when two 20+ ton metal vehicles slam into each other, bad things happen.

Collisions NEED to be in game.

I'm OK with this as a temp fix (well, not really, but I understand) but they need to come back.

I understand that BAP and ECM arent ready yet,however why remove the "Place Holder" for them? It helps me plan my Ravens better.

I believe what they said was there would be no more wipes AFTER open beta. After Open Beta goes live, we're playing with what we've got.
