Abusing the mechanic? So when the netcode still hasn't been fixed and they get protected by a lag-shield we just have to live with no way to make them stay still so we can actually hit them? Maybe I should just pilot a Light Mech now, since no one can hit me other than by luck.

Yen-Lo-Wang is the god of the underworld in chinese mythology, it was never ever used by/for kurita.... i have seen some paint jobs that look similar on mech figures for table top, so it seems to be acurate to the lore, but still it feels utterly wrong.
is that paint job another big fail of the early battletech year`s designers? (such as copying designs from an anime, which led to the "unseens")
or did that paintjob come up later?

lmfao, i wasn't the only one that noticed the Japanese paint job http://www.google.co...iw=1600&bih=799, if this is based in the 3000's don't you think the paint should be unique? Why not have Artwork Competitions from users where people can submit their ideas to be voted on by the rest of the users? its a win win for the players?!?!?!

the name of the mech, the pilot, the pilot's nationality etc made it difficult to comprehend... why they use it.
but perhaps the stickler point is that... some of the chinese are not exactly keen being associated with the paintwork of what's essentially one of the worst invader in their last 100 year since the flag was prominently used by the imperial japanese military.

Great patch guys, looking forward to the influx of newbies to pwn once the open beta/full reset hits.
My Jenner is hungry!

+ theres always coming stuff into the game as if the devs would think *oh lets do something totally stupid and mess up the gameplay*
(incredible amount of rep costs like i dont even get c-bill even if i win + survive + get bonuses from killing/ destroying components on my catapult, no knocking down of mechs totally makes it impossible to kill jenners now with all that **** rubberbanding and lagging to hell).

Given that frame rate is a requirement for good aim, especially on the move which light mechs have to do to survive, I am not happy with how slow the game now runs on my PC. My PC is pretty low end now, (I'm about two months away froma major update), so I went into windows turned off stuff like Areo and anything alse I could find to turn off that was not anti-virus and streamlined the startup and set the games graphics to low. Before the new patch I was getting a frame rate of about 30fps now, after the latest patch, it's back down to around 15fps again. Thinking about turning off even my anti-virus and anti -malware programs now. Hard to justify that when I consider the scant resources those are supposed to use and the loss of protection that entails.
Sorry all. As enthusiastic as I am for this title this last patch leaves me feeling cold. Which reminds me. Why is the frozen city map popping up so much now?

if your just playing MWO or any PC game thats not browser based you should always shut off antivirus and other such security devices, i have windows defender disabled, along with all my anti virus and firewalls, DWM is off during game along with gadgets. it really can help, especially on lower end machines

Also the speed nerf on my beloved Raven makes me a sad panda. Why would anyone buy a Raven instead of the Jenner now? Good looks doesn't win a battle.
