The I prefer the Night Gyr to the Timber Wolf, the only variant that has "issues" is the LRM one, and that is due to having four LRM 20's and only 6 tons of ammo.

Warhammer IIC pimped out with jump jets and a Streak rack.

The Warhammer IIC is not a OmniMech.

Good god, really? Timber Wolf should have, like 900,000,000,000 votes!

It's a freaking ICON of BattleTech! Seriously, the Atlas is only CLOSE to being as famous!

It was in every MechWarrior game since 2!

It looks awesome!

And it appears in the epic intro to MW2!

WHY!? WHY!? WHYYYYYYYYYY!? WHY DID IT NOT GET AS MANY VOTES AS IT SHOULD HAVE!?

*Bangs head against desk*

Iconic as the TimberWolf may be, it is also very comical in that nature. Except for the Mechwarrior: 3050 Snes game, every other intro has it strutting around like a bad*** only to be found weak.

Mechwarrior 2: A pair of Summons took out a pair of Timberwolves. Using machine guns at range against another Omni? Such short-sightedness deserved the autocannon round to the face. And rightfully so.

In Mechwarrior 3, the pilot charged about like he/she was god's gift to man, only to be manhandled by an Atlas at close range (with some help from the Maddog's LRMs)

In Mechcommander 1, the jaguar pilot obviously had the skills to pilot the chassis and the iconic nature of the Omnimech was shown (As per Panther's reaction after he shot the omni and it torso-twisted slowly in his direction) Alas, his ego got to him and his mech was easily destroyed (all from rear damage).

As far as endings go, the 75 ton omni is routinely decimated like it was a lightmech. The only reprising arguement would be that its fate was the direct result of overwhelming firepower.

In regards to Cannon, initially, it was feared. However, as more novels came to the forefront, one is lead to believe that only the most skilled pilots, or rather, mechwarriors with exceptional talent or unorthodox tactics are capable of bringing out the sheer destructive firepower bestowed upon the chassis. Aidan Pryde as well as Vlad Ward has shown that it is formidable.

As much as I love the chassis (it is my favorite actually due to its asthetics), there are lighter omnis that are just as capable of dishing out as much punishment.

The Kit Fox is awesome because it is the baby of the 'chicken-leg' family =^.^=

I love the summoner. I don't think its the most effective mech out there, but i simply enjoy it.

It is actually a very effective mech when used correctly, the B and D configs are among my favourites,

Im a scout specialist so i heavily favor the Adder Primary (Puma), but my back-up ride is the Warhawk Primary (Masakari) in case 2xER PPC's just isnt enough to clip the wings of an overreaching falcon hatchling

Like the IS Firestarter, the Adder is more a "micro assault mech" than a light scout! ;)

Sorry! I probably should have added a little weight variety instead of just listing heavy mechs!

Exactly my thought. The title of this should be "Favorite Heavy OmniMech"

I believe you are the first person I have ever seen use both the true name of one 'Mech and the Inner Sphere nickname of another in the same sentence.

Warhawk is my favorite mech, hands down... do not care which config it is in, they are all deadly.

Second favorite mech (although admittedly not an omni) would have to be the Stone Rhino II... after all, with two Gauss rifles, two large heavy lasers, four medium heavy lasers (two in the back), two small heavy lasers, JJs, an anti-missile system, and A-pods, who would NOT love this mech???
