Redline<CHs> checking in from the mpbt days. Would be fun to see some of the old gang again. I posted on a stroll down memory lane forum somewhere else a few years ago. I saw Sniper had posted on a YouTube clip of Solaris gameplay. Look it up, ahhh memories staying up all night.

"patch" initially, then shifted to 'empty'...which evolved to this current tag; as more and more people have gotten on the 'gaming bandwagon' I'm frequently finding any word six letters or less in length is getting snapped up before I can get involved, so I've taken to appending the prefix "jaded-"

"Medina"...if I remember correctly...

That was while I was briefly with Clan Gray Bear (or was it GreyBear?), playing MW2 online via.....MPlayer was it called? (that doesn't seem quite right)

seems kind of like a long time ago....

I'm probably gonna get a psl though. Super cheap ammo, and i'm a big fan of ak pattern rifles.

That is a nice looking rifle. Looks like the accuracy is in about the same range as the standard M1A and it's definitely easier on the wallet! I'll have to read-up a little more on the differences between the PSL and SVD.

I've been tempted to pick-up an AK also. Any recommendations on a quality manufacturer?

ahh, so many nice rifles and mechs and so little time,... I really have to get my wife interested in either mechs or shooting. Maybe if the rabbits keep eating her garden!

I will say that yes the AK has the reliability to work with, but the shot group is horrible. But hey, what do I know, personally, if I could get any gun I wanted, I would either get the M107 Barrett, or a G36 with mod kit to turn it from K, to C, to LMG. Both are excellent weapons, that I would love to collect.

Finally some peeps who know a little about guns, actual guns. Anyhow five by five, what would you consider your most favorite gun that you own, and what gun you would like most to get.

Hells yes!

You must be shooting some crappy AK hodged together by cheap unskilled labour from used, missmatched, imported parts and a junky US made reciever then. A proper AK-47 pattern rifle is accurate in semi auto mode out to about 300m.

The G-36 is the most overrated rifle in the world. It is just a Stoner AR-18 with plastic thrown on. I don't think it can do anything that an AR can't do.

Barrett M-82 series is nice for throwing rounds (Money?) down range, but for precicion work I would take a McMillan TAC-50.Posted Image

Honorable mention for pure cool'ness factor: EDM Arms Windrunner 50. Yes the Barrel detaches and the entire rifle fits in that case.

after that it was "Predatron" for all the battlefield games and MW4 Mercs

Because of an in joke between me and my friend at the way I was piloting my mech while playing MW2, my callsign has for the longest time been "Dizzy".
