Name: Erika Nox
Gender: Female
Age: 25
Physical Description:

Viala is about 5'9 tall, and has dark blue eyes that can analyze the smallest detail that many others cannot. Her gaze can make many bold men falter. She has long black hair which would fall down past her shoulders if let loose, though she often wears it done up in a ponytail. Above her right eye, she has a scar from when she ejected from a mech, and grazed past a menacing spike of metal.

Her body is skinny, and actually a little diminutive compared to some people, and her skin is slightly tanned. Her body is toned, though not muscular, and her chest is average in size.

History: Erika is a hopeful recruit to any mercenary unit that will take her. She had spent most of her working time with mercenary units, starting when she was 21 and issued a Hunchback. She had moved from the Hunchback, to her new personal favorite, the Hatchetman. The Hatchetman met it's end against a hand-to-hand fight with a Atlas, and she ejected badly, causing her to suffer injuries.
She joined a new unit after the accident, and was issued an Axman, due to her Hatchetman experience. However, the company was shut down nearly a week she joined, and she luckily kept the Axman.

Erika applied to join the RAI, itching to use her luckily-acquired Axman. After going through a brief training course, she was approved, and stationed upon Barcelona.

Mech: 65 Tonner Axman AXM-1N.

((Woops. Went for another scary mech.

RAI?))

Sorry mate, the Mad Cat is a clan mech, they haven't gotten here yet - swap it out for something IS, and mention the RAI connection :)]]

[[Totally. Only vat-brat mech we've encountered so far was a Uller, and it soundly knocked Sparky/Heather's d**k in the dirt. May I suggest a Warhammer or Marauder as a subsitute? Figure you encountered the mech out in the open in your brand spakning new Axeman (it's introduced in 3049) and it ranged you to death. Very possible thing considering the short range of the Axeman.]]

[[Vat.. brat?

I have no idea, sorry.

I chose an atlas as a substitute, and the mech it destroyed was a Hatchetman. She was issued an Axman after that. Which explains the newness.

I can choose a marauder, I'm sorry, I have no clue what I'm doing at this point. If you want, I can also revert the Axman to a Hatchetman if you think it's a case of powerplaying.]]

[[I'm cool with the Atlas killing you - though you have balls of steel to engage that thing in melee :)
Sounds like you need to do some reading on the clanners my friend :)
There's a reason they call the 'Spheroids freebirth!]]

[[Vat-brat is one of my many names for the Clanners. And I don't think you having a Aweman (Aweman? would that be a cross between an Awesome and an Axeman?) Axeman would be over the top. I know we have some sort of Devastator, a Warhammer, an Exterminator (GOD I LOVE THAT MECH) and I think an Atlas and whatever assaults the 17th Skye/Dragoons/Irregulars are packing.. as far as I know, I'm running the lightest mech here at 45 tons. But I'm sure there's at least one mech lighter than my Blackjack.]]

[[All clanners are born in a tank?

I usually think of Clannies as brutes. Sounds a little sophisticated.

And you can put an axe on an Awesome mech?]]

[[Nearly all clanners are born in a tank, yes.
This is a much more powered up RP than the others being run. I have 0 problems with everyone showing up in assaults, or lights, or any arrangement in between. I am a firm believer in the equal opportunity employer.
The bigger the PCs are, the more I get to try and shove 'em over without someone b*tching at me.

EDIT: You can put an anything on any mech, some are just harder to do than others. If you have the crits and tonnage.]]

[[Clanners are born in what they call the 'Iron womb' I imagine it's some sort of lab built around an overpriced blender and incubator. The parents/sperm and egg doners have nothing to do with the children who are raise by nannies till their around 7 where they get dragged off to a boy/girl scout camp from h*ll very much like a futuristic/ancient Spartan knockoff.

As for the Axe/hatchet wielding Awesome it is possible.]]

[[Badass. Imagine an Atlas holding two axes.

Hehehe... Ideas...

I'll stick with the Axman, since it's just a heavy mech. I'll save the Axe-wielding Atlas for later. :D]]

[Not sure if a mech can have two hatchets... Well I'm guessing it can, I just don't know if it could use both of them in the same turn.

*Thinks about a Berserker with two axes and TSM engaged and shivers.*

[[Of course it'd all depend on the terrain and skill of the pilot. Every time I tried using an axe wielding assault mech it quickly became a bullet magnent....

*thinks about the rules for the mace from the tactical handbook and shudders again.*

If it connected with anything it'd drop it. Imagine hitting an Atlas in the center torso and killing it because you just crushed all the frontal armor, internal structure, and damageing the rear torso armor? Now that is just evil, and probably/hopefully not canon. Gonna have to look that one up!

EDIT: they changed the rules on it, thank God. It can now only be mounted on mechs up to 80tons. You'd be better off with the Berserker.]

[[I'll stick with the Axman. Getting tired of rewriting the app.

Besides, an Axman will move QUITE a lot faster than a Beserker, and it would be awesome to be running through the battlefield like a metal apache, just lobbing heads at full sprint. :D
