I think we should play "Would you rather?".

Goons, would you rather make an obnoxious yawning sound/gesture once every minute during every conversation, OR mistake your shirts for your pants forever.

I am opening the floor for questions. Please do not vote until you have all the information you need about both scenarios.

Are we assuming the pants are size standard grognard issue XXXXL?
How long does the yawning sound/gesture last?

Yes, the pants are XXXXL, but in this scenario you are a medium.

The yawning sound lasts roughly 59 seconds.

I'm afraid I'll have to dock you points, the floor is still open for questions so don't vote yet. Classic would you rather blunder.

There's still time for you to make them back. Remember, while the floor is open you can ask as many questions as you need. You may still not have all the information you need about both scenarios.

Well, it's shirts plural, because you mistake ALL shirts for pants, and yes, every shirt you own in this scenario has ponies on. Some have many ponies.

How would shorts factor into this?

Excellent question, this is how we play.

You perceive shorts as being hats.

Well, that's not entirely bad. So this means I would be unclothed on the upper torso, wearing shorts for a hat and pony tshirts for pants.

Huh.

On a scale of 1-10, how annoying IS the yawning sound/gesture?

It's around a 3 for other people, but it's a 10 for you. It annoys you SO MUCH.

Any chance of a medical miracle to reduce the yawn time?

Also, will I still be able to recognize shirts as upper torso clothing once they are being worn as pants?

Excellent question - yes, there IS a drug available, however it has the side effect of making you think all your shirts are pants.

And yes, as soon as you put the shirts on your legs you recognize them as shirts and take them off. But once they're off you think they're pants again.

1: O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.
2: Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
3: LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?
4: How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?
5: They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.
6: They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.
7: Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.
8: Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?
9: He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
10: He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?
11: The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
12: Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;
13: That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.
14: For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
15: But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
16: Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
17: Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
18: When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.
19: In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.
20: Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?
21: They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
22: But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
23: And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.

So uh, I ran into a goon the other day. Seemed like a nice fellow, but I think the paint job on my 'mech offended him in some way because he started attacking. It was a fierce battle and I took some pretty serious damage that'll take a while to repair, but I did manage to take him out. The problem was that we were both alone in a desolate and destroyed city, and I ran out of rations...

long story short, he tasted like chicken.

So my question to the goons is: would you come to my BBQ-party? I think you guys would really spice it up and I know the other guys I told the story to would appreciate it :D

Does the yawning affect all forms of conversation, or only face to face? What if I'm on a bus and two people are having a conversation and I'm sort of, you know, half listening?

Great question - it only affects conversations you are directly involved in, but it does happen even on the phone or on Skype.
