Wow, some great posts went up last night. That made my morning.

Also, Jeremy, Jack probably will see Izzy at some point. I'd pretty much planned for him to be using Cherry Babies/Blossoms as his regular drinking hole. Good beer, good sights...So expect him to make a less than subtle comment when he first sees her in a mech bay. Let's try to avoid violence though, I do not have Jack to a point where he'd be mentally ready and able to overly restrain himself yet!

Yeah... besides Rogue who else's character has a split personality? *hesitantly raises hand.* Maybe we can find a shrink that offers group rates!

It's not so much a split personality so much as two very different ways of acting. When Hans James was hiding on the periphery he had to really throw himself into the persona of Mad Jack - and eventually became it. Now Jack is less of an act that Hans James is, because that's just the man he's become. Over time he'll be becoming more like how he used to, so there will be some mental mind wrestling between the two viewpoints. I plan to put it down in the same way we sometimes have arguments with ourselves ("But I like her!" "But it'd be stupid!" "But it could work!" "But A!" "But B!" etc) but how it comes out in writing I guess we'll just have to see.

She'd blush, pull a knife, and force him to keep it a secret. She'd rather not be seen as a dancer, but as a MechWarrior.

But hey, have to pay the bills somehow.

Now, gonna need to get creative to keep it all PG. Np.

Yeeaaaah, Izzy just gets violent.

So whatever you guys do, never touch the locket. Ever.

Pulling a knife on Jack would probably result in him doing the same, depending on what you're doing with it. Be aware that while Jack is going to be trying not to step on Von Bremen's toes, due to his agreement (Bitter, homicidal, psychopathic, alcoholic...the periphery did all that to Jack, but the one thing it did do is make him keep his word - it was the one way he could be above the rest of the scum, and backstabbing gets you backstabbed), but he is still prone to violence and aggression. We should probably have our characters rub horns, but recognise that escalating beyond words would be met in kind, and seek to avoid a fight. Unless Izzy is stupid angry ofc.

Sounds good :P

My next post will be izzy's first night on the job, so I'll leave it open for Jack to stop by. Sound good?

(Not posting now, will do so later tonight/tomorrow)

Will this be on the 19th? I'd been planning that as more of a 'work' day for Jack, getting the rest of his mechs in, doing the big apology, talk to DeMarkus...
But I could always have him do the apology and then decide he's going for a pint for a while - would match up with your earlier hours.

Totally! I'm guessing Thom taggs along with one of you guys to what is it, Barcelona? Falcon's show up, talk a bunch of trash about freebirths..we fight, and T get's seperated from everyone else... He has a history of getting seperated from the unit he's fighting with. Now he's hold up in some ruin/swamp/forest/ or whatever in Swampthing, dodging patrolls and trying to help out however he can.

Depending on what you want to do, I have no problem with you being one of the Irregulars. I have a company on site, it would not be hard to slot in.
Also, PhaseIn is wanting to join this, but he is afeart to ask because of the officially standing and unofficially ignored ban on new characters xD
Can I tell him to submit a character and sign up already? xD

I see no problem with it really. I've been getting bombarded with PM's from people wanting to join. Most of the time they just end up loosing interest. I'm just happy to see people still posting and other people finding the time to read and enjoy this thing we're doing.

@GW and everyone else in the other RP I'll try to read up everything posted to date and squeeze in a post. Got lots of c rap to do tomorrow.

Hi everybody!

I am terribly sorry about my absence. Especially as I wrote that I would write daily.
I would have liked to be able to contribute, but alas I got a 10 hour job which leaves only so much time to spend elsewhere.
I regret to inform you that I will not be able to contribute to your wonderful creation anymore.
Please continue your great story.

Draco, you're remembering IC you only sent Draco to Outreach about two days ago? They probably haven't even reached the Solaris jump point, nevermind reached Outreach and gone from 0 experience to the bestest pupils ever in two days. Have them show progress when they get there in 4 weeks time sure, but they are not immediately going to start dominating clan trained students who will have spent the last 10 years in a sibko, never mind breaking an Elemental's arm. Still wondering how Draco and Phiro avoided a sibko of their own.

Sorry if that came off a bit harsh, I'm hungover as hell and clocked my head off a wall last night, so my head is killing me...
