Sometimes I want to grab people and say "Hey! Look at this clever workaround that no one has tried before, look how long and hard it was to get this stable on so many differing setups, look at this innovative solution that we devised thus enabling XYZ for the future, look at the code damnit!". It's mostly blank stares in return though
In the same vein, I do wonder what effect the CryEngine update had on the content plans, not to mention the financial pressures behind the scenes.
Congratulations to all involved for getting through what must have been a stressful year indeed.

With that, I sometimes wonder what you and your team thinks and comments about when they read some threads and posts that have popped up.
Examples
A really bad day at work - fraking gods, no wonder it took 10 years to get another mechwarrior game going, those people are simply monsters!!! /beats head against walls....
Even with the research done, we must have been fraking insane /sees out of the corner of the eye men approaching with strait jackets.
Boss, if you had been more upfront about what we were getting into, I would have let that bird fly and have stayed in the unemployment line!!! /opens up medicine cabinet and lots of bottles fall out...

+1 to that. Being in Closed Beta for so long, yeah, it can be a little ... fatiguing, but I'm glad I got to help out to some degree, enjoy playtesting, and also blast the devs a time or two. It's been years since the last MechWarrior game, and it truly felt like an honor to try the latest game and be sure it was going to be alright.
And I think it will be.
