I haven't played MW for years and years (MW2), I am extremely behind the power curve and I am unable to find any sort of practice/ training ground. I need time to blow the rust off me and my Mech especially as I do not have a lot of time to devote to the game.
Instead "Launch" tosses me in the cauldron with everybody else, some good players, some just like myself.
If you really expect this game to take off then you MUST provide a "REAL" training ground for noobs, not a YouTube video.
Otherwise, the true newcomers will get trashed in matches a couple times while struggling with the controls, dump the game and go play in somebody else's sandbox.
So, these community blood games are a good idea but you had better start making provision for the newcomers or you will not Live Long and Prosper.

With this tournament we aim to get new guys in with vets, all big fun.
In the mean time i suggest going onto one of the TS servers, there are education centres in both which generally have someone helpful in there to help anybody who needs it.
Also there are plenty of groups to join so you have someone watching your back while you get your bearings with the game.
