One thing I noticed:
The Centurion AL stock build only shows 49.56 tons used. I don't know what/ if anything is missing.

Nothing is missing. That mech comes stock with Full armor which works out to a wonky tonnage. 338/32 = 10.5625 tons. That is why it appears to be .44 tons light. There are a couple of them like that.

When I change configurations it's a bit of a discomfort having to type the name of that configuration again and again, every time I change something and save it.
Instead it should take the current name as the standard instead of an empty field, so if I don't intend to change the name I can just click "ok" and be done with it.
What do you think?
Another idea would be a "quicksave" button, which simply saves the current changes to the save and name that is active. It should be, however, a few fields away from the normal save button as to avoid accidentical overwriting of saves. But it would allow for quick changes and quick saving them.

How about it auto fills with the previous description?

If you redownlaod it will have it on the "Saves" sheet.
Just a note: I will be adding the ability to import all previous version saves once I release 1.77.
If you have 24 saves I can imagine not wanting to bring them over or redo them 1 at a time.

You read my mind, man! You even added the default description when overwriting a save. Before I asked for it :-)

Questions: Maybe I'm just missing it but is there a way to see the number of shots per ton of ammo?
and...9000+ views and no sticky? C'mon mods... do it!

DPS Value for Large Laser and ER Large Laser is to low,
9 DMG 3.25 CD -> 2.77 dps
the sheet calculates with 2.12 for some odd reason
same for LPL
10 DMG 3.25 CD -> 3.07 dps, listed is 2.50
Edith says:
SL 3 damage 2.25 CD -> 1.33, listed as 1.0
SPL 3 damage, 2.25 CD -> 1.33 listed as 1.09
ML 5 damage, 3.0 CD -> 1.66 listed as 1.50
MPL 6 damage, 3.0 CD -> 2.0 listed as 1.6
Flamer 0.4 damage 0.5 CD -> 0.8 listed as 0.4
Balistiic and LRM are correct

As Thontor said
Those DPS numbers you list are not taking duration into consideration. I don't know what edith is, but their numbers are wrong.

uh didn't know that, thanks for the correction.
than only the Flamer is wrong (it has a "beam" duration of 0.5 and a cooldown of 0.5 that starts right away, i.e. you can continualy fire it)

The Flamer is just kind of a place holder right now. You cannot divide by zero or infinity, so I just calculated them with a half second CD and figured their DPS/HPS to be the same as their dmg & heat.

I researched a bit on the web and found out it has to do with different language packages (i have a german version of excel 2010). The general advice was to avoid names which start with something like „Cx“, „Rx“ and „Lx“ were "x" is a number. Also, compatibility mode was suggested to be used. Here is the (german) site i found these informations http://www.excel-tic...n-und-sprachen/
I will test the nice tool anyway and try to watch out for potential errors

That is going to be an issue. The formulas produce Named ranges based on Hardpoints and weapons selected so far.
These have the format of E2B1A0, which would mean: 2 Energy, 1 Ballistic, 0 AMS. If converting from English-> German has trouble with that sort of name, I cannot do much to help you.
Sorry.
