Excel Mech Lab v1.79.6.xlsm

  • updated stock loadout
  • increased engine limit (730 vs 725)

on the weapon groups or weapon lookup or both?

Verify your artemis upgrade on the sheet and the mech you are looking at.

Just giving a heads up.

I am currently working on adding Clan tech. I don't plan on adding any clan mechs ATM as I don't know how they are going to handle omni pods. (my guess capped on crit size). But without any info I don't feel like putting in tons of work without any guarantee it will be of any use or even comparable to in game mechanics.

Any how. When v1.80.0 comes you guys should be able to mount clan weapons and upgrades on your mech.

No. The lock just lets you move around without messing up formulas and such (they are everywhere and the seem to be breeding).

Also it is to hide the 800+ rows of embarrassment. To make it compatible with 2007, I had to conglomerate things into a giant mess. At this point I don't really feel like cleaning it up, it is the dirty dog, I have accepted that I must live with until it dies.

Alright guys, the first big update in a while.

Clan Tech!

Below the upgrades section you will see at "tech" dropdown. Select "Clan" and now all your weapons & upgrades have the stats of their clan counterparts.

Note: Do not use upgraded versions of the weapons. Example: If you want a Clan UAC/20, just select Clan on the tech section and install an AC/20, it will produce the size and damage of a clan UAC/20.

Likewise ERPPCs, UAC/5 and SSRM-2 are all their IS stats, to get clan versions select the non-lostech version, ie. PPC, AC/5, SRM-2 with "Clan" selected in the tech dropdown.

PS: Let me know if you see weapons that don't change to the correct size when selecting Clan tech. or any bugs from loading/ saving variants.

This is very, very nice!

Issue: Clan ERPPCs take up 2 crit slots, not three, and weigh 6 tonnes.

Edit: I think the UACs are off in tonnage and crits too, the clan version of the UAC5 takes up 3 slots and weighs 7 tonnes.

Ah, makes me remember how nightmarish clan tech is. I can get 4 clan ERPPCs in my Awesome 9M. The Yager can mount 4 clan UAC5s and a few ERMLAS and be viable. Sweet Jesus

I also can't get the other clan tech to load in the dropdown lists - UAC2s and the like. The other tech seems to change. Am I doing it wrong?

Ya. Don't select lostech versions for clans. To get a Clan UAC/2 select "Clan" in the tech, and install a regular AC/2, it will have clan weight and clan size & DPS.

Like the ERPPC in your question. To get a Clan ERPPC, install a standard PPC with the Clan option selected. Hope this clears it up. To get a Clan UAC/5 select an AC/5. I know it is confusing. At the time I put it in, it seemed to be the best way.

Okay, the PPC was messed up. That should be fixed. redownload for the correct stats.

I can make it change the names, the problem comes that when you switch tech bases it produces #N/A results when the names change.
