Well this just sucks, everyone I introduced to the game since OB has now left due to Premades. They say "why should I do something that is not fun" I kind of agree with them. Am only here because I have two good Mechs and even against Premades I can do enough damage to make a profit.

I just think the Devs should be kicked up the arse as we warned them about this over 3 months ago, no excuses, it's harming the game, fix it or lose money. Oh and 4 man lances won't fix it, we need Solo queues.

Why not find a group of guys to play with? There are several groups that happily accept in new players and work with them. It just seems silly to cry over getting beat by a premade when you can easily join up with a group and you know, become a premade...

The Devs had different priorities than the matchmaker. Coconut Monkey and Pay 2 Wang.

Maybe all these friends you introduced to the game should.... get in teamspeak together and use team tactics?

This has to be fixed asap. It can't wait. Ppl are treating Open Beta like a Demo, instead of beta testing. First impression matters. You'll have to work 10x as hard to make up for it later, for those who give you another chance. Most won't.

Just disable teaming completely until matchmaking can be implemented properly. Premade players won't just leave, unlike puggers who are checking out the game. They'll bid their time in beta until teaming is implemented again.

Why not just group up with the friends you brought into the game....? lol

If so it's because someone led them to believe that every time they lose a match, it's a "pre-made" that did it.

The problem is experienced players vs. new/inexperienced players (or the bad players who insist on ramboing that we've had since CB).

A lot of us have been PUGing or at the most playing with one other friend, two max ... and racking up the kills and wins (then getting called "pre-mades").

I really don't know what I'm supposed to do according to some people here, not play? Only use half my weapons? Give the other team a 5 minute "free play" session? Not use my custom mechs (even that doesn't really work, tried a trial dragon, still did alright)?

What do you suggest?

I agree that it's a problem, but with PGI not having done anything, I'm at a loss as to what exactly my options are.

Just because you dont think his friends should of left does not bring them back.

Matchmaking is in need of an improvement for the noobs. We are losing potential pilots daily because of it.

Where is the proof they were all premade groups as well. I've seen very few premade groups myself.

Ever stop to think people dont wish to play like you do.

How many times are you going to try and force your playstyle down someones throats.

Solo players are a fact in MMOs. It has been for a long time
The successful games are friendly to solo players.
The games that do not fail.

When the solo players jump ship, the numbers go down, the game fails , and you can kiss another game goodbye
I think you severely underestimate how many solo players there are. Without them you wouldn't have a game to play in

Why not play a better game?

The people playing the game now are the only ones going to be playing a few months from now, too. Its just not a competitive product. Almost every F2P game on the market is simply better and more are coming.

I would like to add that the DC'ers are killing the fun factor for me as well. Get destroyed by a group, start clicking around through other mechs, half the team has DC'd. I was with one guy in particular today who would join in a trial Dragon and immediately quit. Every. Time. Getting so pissed from all the DC's.

No matter how great a game is or can be, people will try it and some find that it is not for them.

This game has a long way to go, and I am looking forward to the four man team thing, and the 8man vs 8man only.

Until then, I think any complaints along these lines are premature.

Yes, the current crop of american youth have been nerfed by a mindset that they are all great and will never have to work hard to achieve anything...but as the current world will show them the hard way, so will this game, that greatness will never be handed to them on a silver plater.

Report players that do this. It's the best way to get it resolved. I agree it's a pain but posting on here isn't the best way to solve it. Submit a ticket on players who does this.

My thoughts exactly, I know am going to find it hard to lure them back as they are not MW Lore fanatics, they just believed me when I said the game was great fun. Maybe I was a bit naive as I have been playing for months against good players so am able to cope, they were baptised with fire and brimstone lol... ffs it's not funny.

Oh those poor guys! The started a new game and in one day left it because they didnt know how to play correctly and their "friend" didnt teach them how to play it right.

cry me a river. Your imaginary friends created to make this crybaby post about the topic that has been covered a thousand times should have tried a little harder.

I was in a PUG earlier, facing another PUG (if they were a pre-made then..umm..ugh). I found myself alone on Forest Colony (I wandered off, my own fault) with a Catapult and an Awesome on my backside. I was in my current Cent 9A.

I am mounting a UAC5, 3 SSRM2s, 2 Mlasers, Endosteel, DHS (well, a couple of them out of the engine) and AMS.

I fought those 2 mechs for quite a while. A Raven then joined the fight against me. At this point it was 180 tons Vs 50 tons. I killed the Awesome, Killed the Raven and then got killed by the Cat. The Cat was a wreck by the end, but he finished me off with his 2 remaining lasers.

So I agree with an above poster. It is not the pre-mades that are the main problem, it is the new players vs. the experienced ones. I don't consider myself all that good, just above average, against experienced pilots I would have been toast. Quickly.

I love soloing team-based tactical games, where communication and fighting information warfare are key to success through being able to respond quickly to attacks and staging counterattacks.

Solo powur!

This could be any number of issues from actual DCs joining a match, to afkers being rewarded, to rewards not being balanced against actually playing. It is currently better to suicide scout to earn cbills than to actually play in a reasonable manner unless you think KDR in a pug means something. Reporting players for this is kinda silly, they need to fix the problem. Or just deal with it because as the apologists like to point out:

My bro paided $30 for basic founders and he only played about 14 games since open beta and he says he aint ever going to play it again.

I don't blame him since premades are everywhere LRM stomping pugs with their leet camping skills.
