I played way more video game than you son.

You sure about that? I had MW2 on a Windows 95 PC before I was even a teenager. All I've done with my wasted life is play video games. Maybe if you're older you're right(I'm only 24), but why would that be something to brag about? But if you did play more, then you should appreciate classic game sound tracks. They were always electronic, they were never rock. If you're saying those are bad... you're just saying you never liked game music.(But worded very poorly)

If i hear any of that stoopid dubstep **** in MWO im out. no techno, hip hop, R or B or any of the like. ROCK, METAL, and more ROCK only plz ;) either that or yes orchestral stuff like from the older games. personally i dont play to listen to any in game, or in tutorial, music i just wanna hear **** blow up!

Rock music isn't MechWarrior music. If they put crap like that in, most of us is just going to mute it. Luckily for me I have the soundtracks for the MW2 titles on my computer. I would likely mute theirs and play that instead. :)

Just to spite you my next video will be set to this:
...

It's going to be awesome.

This is the kind of girl with which I'd pretend to like her music in order to get her into my bedroom. Then she would find the disc she gave me in the trashcan and I'd get busted.

Wow. I expect your life will be an interesting one. Perhaps one that Hunter S. Thompson could relate to.

I forgot to mention that the lyrics in my signature is always from Blutengel songs. These are from "Out Of Control" from the Nachtbringer album.

It's really funny I agree with you that music is subjective but I'm wondering why you only mentioned one thing that was music? ;)

Dubstep is mind numbing. The pretentious so-called educated artists that create it somehow seem to think that a diploma will actually allow them to feel music better than say the garage band that lives and breathes for it. Bah!

Hair rock was more than music, it was a lifestyle as well as a hairstyle. Death to all butt metal.

Just an FYI, real metal stomps through ******** and kicks babies into other dimensions and look at the poll Dubdrippers. Metal wins.

Let me remind you why..

I think the OP should keep his opinions of music to himself, Bieber and Dubstep? I never thought I would say this (23atm), but kids now a days listen to some real lame ****.

Stick with the Rock and metal. It's not like I am pushing my eccentric tastes of Glam Rock.

Seriously OP and his thread can Bieber my balls.

I think everyone is getting way too caught up in what music they like. What really needs to happen is that they should choose music that recalls memories of previous Mechwarrior titles. If this means using the MW2 music, great for me, because I freakin' love that music. If it means the MW4 music, well, I'm not super excited, and I'll probably just turn it off and listen to MW2 music.

In the end, as long as they take some of the best of the old songs, remake them, and don't try to go with a current trend or something completely divergent from what previous titles have used (dubstep and heavy-metal, respectively) things should be fine and I doubt they'll distinctly alienate anyone.
