Battletech is a table top / board game involving DICE. The skill set involved is more aclimated towards monopoly or an SAT math problem than towards a first person shooter. Now if you want to go play TT battletech on the moon, the comparison would be more apt.
Battletech is actually the entire franchise that consists of the TT, videogames, novels, cartoons, etc.
Thank you for playing.

This is not a BT vs MW thread and nor should it be. Please stay on topic.
No sweat.
Anyway, back on topic.
There is a great deal of potential for the various worlds of the IS and Periphery beyond gravity.
- There is a large variety of worlds that have domed cities where the inhabitants could not possibly live on the planet for long. There was a beautiful piece of art for this once, but I cannot seem to find it. Dustball has 5 domed cities for instance.
- The Periphery sourcebook had some pretty cool cover art with alien plants and whatnot, I would love to see plantlife you would not normally see on Earth.
- Alien/genetically engineerd animals, there are plenty of these around:

- There could also be different atmospheric effects, not every sky and sea have to be blue.
- A year on Trellwan only takes 45 days and you will get to see every season in those 45 days. There are tons of other planets with non-standard seasons and whatnot.
There is a ton of potential here for the IS worlds.
