vs. 6-7 Atlases in a premade...
Atlases should not be this easy to get.
Not into SW but this is kind of like everyone being a Jedi.

Unfortunatly with current matchmaker, they would mostly face 'teams' of Trial Awesomes.

In every other MW game; if I was in a light Mech and I saw an Atlas step in front of me I would wet myself. Not anymore, said because I love the Atlas, I have since I saw it on the cover of 1626 (and if you know what that stands for you now I am a hardcore battletech’r)! To see the most iconic battlemech reduced to ruins by a 40 ton Mech, breaks my heart! Even when I’m the one pulling the trigger.
On top of that it cost around 20,000 CB to fix my damaged Cicada and around 120,000 to fix my Atlas. So the Atlas is underpowered, slow to start, stop, turn, torso twist, expansive to buy and maintain. I have to go now, i am having trouble seeing the screen through my tears.

6-7 voip'd players that were good, your precious Jenners were one shot with focused coordinated fire
from several Atlases at once.
Makes me laugh when you kids act like you shat out MW and no one else knows how to play.
I see plenty of your founders badges underneath my scores and I started playing MWO just a couple days ago.
(I bought Battletech and Citytech in 1985 and played more mech games than I can
remember but hey I don't know ****, right ?)
Besides my interest in the MW universe, I've got nothing invested in this game and in it's current
state it won't be seeing any fudiciary relations with my wallet.

Plenty of crappy free games available to play and, sadly, this will just be another.

Skip to 2min for the action to start! Enjoy!
P.S. That was a 100% pug group I dropped with!

Light mechs are absorbing way too much damage from heavys and heavys are taking way too much damage from lights.
Heavys should be able to, literally, one-shot them.
And the Atlas was to be feared when it arrived on the battlefield, in this game it is ridiculously common
in just one week of open beta.

There were at least two Atlases on each team in the video and those Atlases that died were trying to advance on your base so they likely got pounded to **** from LRMs before they ever got near you.
They were poor players, how does that justify so many Atlases in the hands of good
players stomping pugs to death ?
Or conversely, allowing the light streak equipped POS of the day to do serious damage to a
behemoth like the Atlas.
Should not be happening.

Dum dum, the premade team of atlases created the situation where the Assault lone wolves
were pulled into an Atlas trap like a black hole.
Just another broken part of this game.
Enjoy.

Jenner sees me.. runs full speed into me with no remorse and proceeds to circle me, I do take them down but not before they run into me about 5 more times.
It's pretty disgusting. Collision better be a very high priority, just below better netcode.

Purchased against purchased.
Problem solved.
And to the above poster:
Why are you playing an Atlas as a lone wolf ?
That is a sure way to broke land.
If you are on a team and they are not providing the big boy
with some cover then your team needs work.

This topic is going no where because you are clearly close minded and you want everything to go your way!...
TL;DR = Blah blah blah, Negative.... Blah blah, His Opinion!

Totally agree! the idea of a point blank circle of death against an Atlas in my Cicada is just crazy. Then to win WTF! I don't really understand how the damage works. I hit a shutdown Jenner squre in the back with and AC20 and 2 large lasers and his back went yellow. My math isn't that bad, 36 points of damage minus 6 armor equal dead. But he powered back up and took off.

Is it class based or Tonnage based? I have seen some missions were we had only 6 players, all heavy and assault and most of the enemy light. If its tonnage than this only makes it worse, since lights are so lethal. But i think the point of the post is that Atlas's should be harder to get and maintain, under the assumption that they are the most powerful (Jedi). Which has extended the discussion into; Are Atlas all powerful? Not even close in my option.

Was it SIN? We have a ton of atlases. Anyway, atlases shouldn't be that much harder to get than any other mech. Unless he's really good or gets lucky I can kill one in a jenner. Atlases aren't the ultimate mech or something.

That's a bug then. That should have killed him if it really hit him all in the rear CT.

Ever think that maybe if you guys stuck together that wouldn't happen?
