running so fine that they have been forced to go f2p before the game is even a year old due to massive sub loss.

No kidding. The fact that they want to buff them in any way is ********. They where OP before you add the stupid Archimedes. They take away from the game the only people that want them buff like this are
people that cant aim and or people on teams that have to have them to stand a chance in a match. I remember the promo vids where the creative directors where touting how balance the game would be. What a joke. Did Piranha go out and hire the team that sunk the Star Wars online game? Its the only other game Ive played that fell apart this quickly.

They were not OP before. Just more people were using them than before. Once the masses start to abuse a system it gets touted as being OP. GaussCats! I kill them on a regular basis, Streaks? Same thing. I also get circle jerked by Jenners or Cicadas so the cycle is renewed! The Missile sright now were OP for a few reasons but damage wasn't necessarily one of them. It might have been, but I will work with what I get after today and judge them for what they are.

My first post was from before the patch with the new LRM flight angles. And Caustic still has cover, just another parts of the map. Ridge in column 3 does not really work anymore, but the Caldera ridges still work if getting fire from below. Shutdown and JJs work as defense too.

I have been a very very long term MW fan, from pen and paper through tabletop and PC. LRM systems were always pretty damn dangerous. But they were always offset by the fact I could slap AMS on any mech, but this game seems to be made by people who stick their hand down the front of their pants while being able to play with two fingers of the one that's free to grab the moisturiser and cheetos.

Hey you don't like LRM's use cover! ... Sure dumbass that makes for just the best gameplay ever. hide under the umbrella while waiting to get my *** spammed by their snipers. Real fun. Real tactical. LRM's should not dictate battlefield tactics, they should augment and alter stratagy, not dictate your gamestyle.

The current gamestyle used by the total field of LRMboating dicks is called 'Douchebagery' and the fact other players that don't like running around using f***finger tactics are just being told 'oh stop whining and learn how to play', just prooves my point, if this is how LRM's are being used now, then god F***ing help us when we get out of beta.

That's not really cover, that just LOS.

If they have a spotter or brawlers in range your toast.

Oh yeah, and the fact a double shot of triple long range PPC's doesn't rip a 35 tonne mech in half, is just stupid, PPC's one of the MW fingers of death have been relegated into the 'Oh uh yeah they're like lasers.. but prettier' slot, really just irks me to no end.

The problem is more than LRMS. I am a Jenner pilot. When I am in my JR7-F, the full Laser variant, it is impossible to brawl a fellow Jenner with streaks. My 300ms ping + lag shield means that I must lead the target by atleast 3 inches. Now it shouldn't be a problem to lead a target but the lead is relative to speed and approach angel so there is always a guessing game. The Streaks do miss with the lag shield but hit ratio is still far higher than my lasers. Now how are you suppose to brawl when the game throws hand to eye coordination out of the door and forces you to make a best guess. LRMs at the moment are the only reliable way to take out light mechs, if you nerf them than the game will lean heavily in favor of us Jenner pilots.
