Where is the option about non stop forum whining? Because honestly, that's my #1 issue right now.

Although I must admit looking forward to tomorrows patch and the next batch of whines. It's going to be marvelous!

I put Streaks and LRMs. They need to be buffed at least 20x more powerful.

IMO, it's veritable smorgasbord.

Heat/Heavy Energy Weapons pretty much go hand in hand, the way heat is handled is the only thing gimping the non-ammo heavy hitters.

Netcode is a major PITA, I'm sick of having to lead Commandos and Jenners a full 'Mech length.

And I know the matchmaking "will" get better in the future, but I can't stand it right now.

Also: Streak/Gauss/LRM boats.

You shouldn't have to aim a laser 30 feet in front of a target to land a hit.

So far... well.. The ovewrall epic reduction of consequences (aka the great dumb down) is a real tragedy.

Now after couple hundred matches to get into my Hunchi.. I kinda noticed..

Physics ... totally missing ...Collisions (charging existed, DFA though never formally implemented) are a huge part of the Mechwarrior game universe and lore. Without them it feels kind like "Mario Brothers online", everybody shooting fireballs of one form or another at each other, until you Koopa out.

At least in Mario, when you took a huge fall it cost you a life...poor little plumber..

I'm not sure who's tears were being shed, who cried, wailed, and tantrum-ed .But no physics model at all? Has the pussification gone to that level of extreme?? Just to satiate the uninitiated's cries of "its to hard!!", on top of the other glaring "No Meta Game" deficiency...

It’s all really just hand-holding cake layered with excuse icing.

Closed Beta Physics were a lot better, well... because they existed. I really hope that tomorrow's patch demonstrates some real forward motion on many fronts, or this game will remain in beta long after the clans arrive.

The suicide campers are just a consequence of no economy model prior to the design of of the game, nobody planned, or else we wouldn't be getting the "try this" and see how it works excuses.

I assume there is a project manager in charge of this (and held against a wall for 30 lashes by now)... or is PGI expecting every moron out there just to dump money on a re-it of "Contra 3D" forever on promises.

Yes it’s a beautiful game. The lights are pretty, and so are the backgrounds. It needs get a heap of substance, and depth in a hurry. The "Its beta" thing isn't going to last forever.. or maybe it will and what a shame that will be.

Having a more or less decent German ping of 150ms average and most of the time I can't even hit a still standing mech with my AC/5 on the server side. Means I hit them visually but he gains no dmg...

For me, it's LRM's. They need to have a greater spread, less overall damage, or be less accurate in general... when you can have two C4's with 30 LRM's a piece salvo firing simply wipe anything they lock... meh

I would vote "lack of metagame"...that's pretty much my #1. I know they are working on it and I'm not unhappy with the game as-is, but it's the only thing that I am really waiting on to feel like the game is pretty much functional.

There are a number of issues that need address but this is beta and I know they will get to them when they can. My #1 which could be fairly easy to fix would be a player lobby. A place to meet new people, or a place to talk to people I am not in a group with before/after a match. Having to rely on the forums makes it all feel too impersonal to me. Being able to chat with new people in real time outside of a match could help bring the community closer together IMO. Not everyone hangs out daily in these boards. Not everyone uses the TS3 voice while they play and if they did there is no one server that will hold everyone at once. Even with C3 working in game it still only works during a match or with an established group of people who you already may know.

The number 1 issue for me is the XP system. Currently, every mech has the same traits that you can train with XP. Not a single mech has any unique traits that you can train. One would think that with a Raven 3L you would get traits that increase effective of electronic warfare system but it currently has nothing special in the skill tree.
The fact that you have to train three variants, each with the same skill tree, to get to the next level of skills (all of which are the same for every mech) makes the skill system entirely tiresome. Why does a Commando have the same skill tree as a Hunchback? Seriously, this part of the game needs to be reworked majorly.

Lack of storyline/PvE. If devs are going to limit mechs/equipment according to timeline, there should be storyline/pve missions to go along with it. Otherwise there's no justification.

none of the above....my number one issue is that they took knockdowns out of the game...no matter how bad they were the current solutions is tons worse...giving light mechs total freedom of the battlefield has given them the power of an assualt mech

no longer are lights scouts they are now killers who dominate close in fights...

Netcode for me, but I am a HPB. I can deal with the crashes and minor bugs that happen now and then.
