The OP was talking about SSRMs, but I've noticed that groups of both SSRMs and SRMs seem to be spreading out more and hitting less often.

Don't know what you mean. After last patch and before the hot-fix today SSRM were broken. They were missing still standing targets but in my last game I experienced the opposite. It seems that they silently fixed it.
It is working as intended, that not all missiles hit the centre torso any more.

SSRM still are very strong support weapons - no killers anymore, but fantastic for support others.

SSRMs no longer justify their cost, tonnage and ammo cost compared to SRMs.
A weapon that was supposed to lock to targets and never miss now misses at any range.
Better use SRM now.

Refer to topic :P i'd like to have a dev answer or any official note. Or anything really... Not a boat but liked them.

Looks like I have to be more specific. SSRM started to spray since last patch can't even hit stopped target with homing missiles... Anyone ?

More details on why you think they're bugged would be useful

SSRMs no longer justify their cost

They do - if you are a team player.

If you want to play lone wolfe - forget SSRM - but while in Team, they are really strong

what exactly are you talking about?
I mean, what about the Social Button, is it a bug?

no offense meant, but i guess you have to be more specific if you expect an answer from ANYONE

They were never supposed to in either tabletech (my new term :P) or in MWO to CT-seek, just to definitely-hit

The randomized locations actually gives lights a bit of a break, now a couple ssrm2s strapped onto any other mech aren't a sphere of impenetrability anymore. I know personally if I saw more than one streak in the enemy loadout (I'm a jenner pilot) I just eyeballed them from FAR and called for help.

Now I've got a fighting chance (though I have changed my jenner's two ssrm2 for 2xsrm4 due to the change)

I noticed the accuracy is down a bit. I assume you are upset they are not 100% hit and 100% str8 to the CT. Justin Timberlake wrote you a song. "Cry me a river".

Its not Bugged.

Lol Did I seem upset to you ? It's a question... You seem a little cranky though. Throwing free insults.Oh and stating the obvious... you assumed wrong.

Can I get positif and intelligent feedback now ?

In my opinion they are now "working as intended". I use them myself on one of my Jenners and it was stupid easy. Now it requires some luck and a little planning. Just like real combat.

Streak-cats and Streak-mandos will now have to work for their wins other than just "Wait for red, press button until dead".

Isn't this the intended niche that Artemis is supposed to fill for SRM and SSRM builds?

I still play my A1 with 6 streaks - and i get my kills. So... God's in heaven, it's all OK with the world. :P

Guys, stop complain or whine - learn to play! :)

Its not just accuracy - they lock on random body parts (each rocket individually) and seem to miss even against average-sized low-speed targets in plain view. Part of it was promised by devs earlier, but i dont see any mentions of this in recent patchnotes.

I think it would make more sence if they would be speed sensitive and lock into bodyparts by pairs, while ignoring hands and legs - that would still nerf them from their only-torso behaviour, but still leave them as an alternative to srm's. Now i dont think that they live up to their cost in critslots and cbills - but hey, who said they should.

Yep not a nerf. They still follow youll learn your lines soon enough to hit. They needed to get rid of the "F/R CT Mainly" impact zone. As to the SRM's it used to be about this tight without art. You just need to learn the lines there as well.
